Calling this place famous is a lie; no one knows it exists.
Also it certainly shouldn’t contain the word bakery, as the only bakery item they have are blueberry muffins. Which are garbage by the way. There were 5 blueberries on top and ZERO on the inside.
What a scam.

Do not come here if you are over 21 and you look young while needing to purchase liquor or tobacco products, obviously it is the law to ask for id, but to often they deny my id claiming it is fake even after scanning it when I am 27 years old! They will not believe you and will ask you for two forms of ID

Pretty expensive prices for liquor. Nobody was available to make sandwiches at 7 pm on a Saturday.

Hate to leave a bad review for a local business but my experience was pretty bad today. The "famous turkey club" is listed on the board for $8.29. I was charged $9.29 because it was "changed in the system" but not on the menu?. Eh, no biggie but annoying to be charged a different price with a "sorry bout that". As for the sandwich, pathetic amount of meat and really pathetic microwaved bacon. 2 stars because the bread was good and the veggies on the sandwich were fresh. For a few extra bucks there are some really good options around (Perry's deli and the Santa Venetia Market deli both blow this place out of the water).

Famous Deli is really the INFAMOUS deli because:1. THEY WERE SHUT DOWN BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR UNSANITARY CONDITIONS.2. They sell old stale beer that's a year old. Today, they tried to sell me beer that was over a year old!!!! I said that I thought it would be stale, but Mono, the store keeper, said it would be "ok". The beer was not "ok".3. They are disrespectful of customers. My neighbors also complain about this store.ps - please disregard any of my former reviews of this business. I understand that the owners of this business were able post a false review that seemed to be posted by me. I don't understand how they were able to do that. I reported that fake review, and it has been removed by yelp.
