My Girlfriend and I were finishing up an awesome weekend in Gualala and were really craving some pasta on the way home. After Googling places near us she decided on Il Davide. As soon as we entered we felt the warmth of a proper Italian restaurant. The Hostess asked if we had reservations, I told her we did not. She was very kind and accommodating and found a table for us anyways. Her service was Great! Our waiter was very friendly. I ordered my usual, Lasagna! The food came out...
Today, I ordered takeout from Il Davide, and Matthew was fantastic. I used to frequent Il Davide every week when I lived in San Rafael a few years ago. Since moving away from the area, I’ve been longing for Il Davide! I was in the vicinity today and had the opportunity to visit, and the food was incredible, and the service I received from Matthew was impeccable!

I shared my birthday with IL Davide on November 13th , 2024. My first time visiting San Rafael Ca. I ordered two small plates which were just enough flavor and happiness for my tastebuds! I was presented with crème brûlée and an entourage of awesome servers to sing happy birthday to me! That made my day even more special than I anticipated it to be☺️. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service was 100%!! Thank you for great food and a memory that can never be forgotten!!!
