This place is hella good! I got the no. 6, Pastrami. The bread is the key but the stuff under the bread is great too. Nice big ol Sammy for a decent price. This is a San Rafael institution that just keeps on giving.
Great place to get a quick, good sandwich on a break from work. Hasn't been a time that I don't get in and out of there in less than ten minutes (to go). Fresh sourdough bread (hence the name). Workers work with a smile and have always been kind.
Warm and crusty sourdough rolls are the staple of these tried and true sandwiches. Tasty and comforting on a cold day. Busy, popular place but a short wait. Friendly waitstaff. I recommend this place!
