Gracious and kind. And something for every palette. A fun, frivolous, and friendly. A fantastic experience. Even when you’ve only heard about it from a friend.
Highly recommended. 🙌
This place is a hidden gem. Run don’t walk to get your gourmet items here!
This guy is an Italian genius when it comes to food! The combinations of flavors he comes up with would rival any great Italian chef. I met him while selling at a local farmers market a while ago-during or right after the pandemic. Restaurants were closed and he needed a way to support himself and to carry on his love of cooking and, thankfully, he came up with this business plan. Check out his website and i promise you will not be disappointed! Absolutely delicious and freshly made options available!
The BEST pasta. I live in Seattle but have inlaws in San Rafael so I always stop by to stock up when I'm in town! It's now the only pasta I stock in my house :)
I purchased the spinach garlic fuzilloni at the Ferry Building yesterday. We prepared it tonight with a high end pesto. We accompanied it with an heirloom tomato, avocado and fresh corn salad seasoned on with salt and pepper. There are no words to describe the joy we experienced with this meal. Absolutely the best pasta ever!

Fantastic pasta and sauces. I can't live without their bucatini, but all of their very diverse selection of pasta shapes are winners. High-quality all-around, and the store in front of the factory is tastefully arranged and decorated. Just go, and buy the pasta.

I like this company because it only uses local produce in its ingredients. #supportlocalfood #buyfromafarmer.
I hate to have to write this. But it needs to be stated. Last Sunday, my boyfriend and I went to get Vietnamese food for dinner, at Pho Viet. The parking lot was pretty full, but we found a spot in front of the Mill Valley Pasta Shop. The shop was closed, but I peeked in the window and said, out loud, “That looks like a fun store!” And planned to return when they were open on a different day. However, after my boyfriend and I finished dinner, we came back to his car and found a big green “No Parking” sticker attached to his window. One of those nasty warning stickers you usually see police put on cars when they have been parked there for MONTHS, not less than 2 hours. The kind of sticker you need a razor blade and Goo Gone to remove. We were confused because there were no other cars that had received the sticker, only us. We looked around for any signage or paint on the curb that would indicate that we were not supposed to park there. The only sign in the lot said not to park for more than 2 hours, which we definitely hadn’t. My boyfriend called the police and it wasn’t them. He called the security company that manages the lot and it wasn’t them. The sticker had several boxes that indicated various violations and none of them were checked. So we had no clue why we were tagged. The only logical conclusion was that someone from the pasta shop had tagged the car, because they didn’t want us parking there. My boyfriend returned when the shop was open and asked about it, and they admitted to doing it. He asked why they couldn’t have left a note on the windshield or something, and they said this was the best way they could think of to prevent people from parking in that spot. Apparently they pay for those spots. However, I think putting a sign up at the store would be helpful, so that people know they can’t park there. Putting a nasty sticker on someone’s driver’s side window with no explanation or warning, while they’re just trying to go get dinner for an hour (and your shop is NOT OPEN) is rude and quite frankly vandalism! It’s super unfair to expect people to just “know” they’re not supposed to park there, without any signs posted! Sadly, it makes me never want to shop at this store, either. My boyfriend had just had some stuff stolen from his car the night before, and then this! Really not fun! Again, sorry to say this. But it’s really bad PR for your company to treat potential customers like criminals before you’ve even met them.
Amazing, love these guys. High quality, interesting shapes and tastes. Chef background shines through. Follow the directions on their packages exactly for best results. Everything I've tried is excellent - bolognese ragu, sciue-sciue, mac n cheese, and several pastas. Love that they are partnering with other outstanding farmers market regulars (meats & veggies) and enjoy their booth. Look forward to visiting the store too. Try them, you won't be disappointed!
I miss seeing you at the farmers market. I met the owner there and am so happy to see his plan going forward, fulfilled! However, that’s no surprise from me. Tony loved what he was doing, His background as a professional chef shines through in his pasta, sauces and his spice combinations, as well as his excellent suggestions. His passion for what he’s doing can be tasted in every bite. I look forward to stocking up and seeing what’s new. Congratulations Tony!

The fresh gluten free pasta is by far the best gluten free pasta I've ever had. Such a treat.
Long time fan of Mill Valley Pasta Co! The pasta is really the best, rare varieties you won't find outside of Italy and outstanding sauces you'll crave. Authentic pasta machines and recipes ensure the sauce holds onto the pasta making every bite heavenly. The owner Tony has years experience as a gourmet chef and is so helpful with tips, and very kind and funny! MVPC is THE place to elevate your game!
Found this after lunch at Pho Viet, what a find! We spent $100+ on pasta, sauces and mushrooms... a few weeks later it is all gone and we need more! fantastic sauces and the pasta are so much better than even the higher end store bought brands. I really struggle with gluten and for some reason do not have a bad reaction to their pastas. I also bought the gluten-free, which as another reviewer noted, is the best they have tried. Totally agree. Drive out of your way to shop here!
Best pasta around! Beyond worth a stop! Chef Tony only uses the best farmers market ingredients.
