This is a gem of a bakery and coffee spot. Tucked in the Woodland neighborhood in a residential neighborhood and you can get breakfast sandwiches, lunch in addition to their wonderful pastries and cookies. I took some home with me too. How this place doesn't have a line out the door all the time I don't know, but people need to know about this family owned place. They took over from the previous owners and they are so nice. Its calm and has a back patio too.

Cozy little bakery with wide variety of vegan muffins that are corn based. First time having a corn based muffin, and it reminded me of cornbread. Not too sweet. Loved it. So special that they’re still making muffins with the original recipe.

I can’t believe I paid $7 for this croissant… I’m ok with spending $28 on FOUR pastries (one of them is not on the picture bc I had to pop it in the oven for it to be edible..) expensive but might be worth it, right? Well this is NOT IT. I’m sorry, I don’t like leaving bad reviews but when you are charging these prices you have to do better… shame.

The baker or bakers at Muffin Mania used to make the absolute best butter croissants in all of Marin County. After Armida purchased the business, for a while, they retained their skills in making butter croissants that would rival those made in Paris. It's been a while since I consumed carbs so I went today to treat myself. What they now sell, for $6, as a butter croissant, is little more than a piece of bread. Lacking is the rich, delicious flavor of butter. Lacking is the crisp flaky exterior. Special talents and skills were lost in the ownership transition.

She makes decent baked goods but overpriced, and the owner’s rather sour demeanor makes me want to go elsewhere. Too bad because it is potentially a great neighborhood spot.

I went in the early afternoon and there were still 3-5 types of vegan muffins. It looked like they were all cornmeal based. I got the apricot one, which tasted mostly like a regular corn muffin. Even though the apricot wasn't prominent, I still enjoyed it and would like to try the others.

What an absolutely pleasant surprise this place is! Feels and tastes like home. I got hot chocolate, strawberry rhubarb, and 4 street tacos. ☕️🥧🌮 Forgive me for the strange selection of food; I had no expectations. The line was getting pretty long, so they just started serving me food.... Now I've never had a restaurant trust me that much. I can't promise that service to everyone, but they do have really good staff. If you're looking for something healthy in the morning, look no further!

Best bran wheat muffins around! They had a few different berry flavors each time so I get 2-3 to try. Warm a muffin up at home for 15 minutes and WOW. I keep going here to try different things and they never disappoint.
