Peet’s Coffee is more than just a place for coffee ☕🤎 it’s a spot for inspiration ✨. Even on a warm day, the inside feels cool and refreshing, while the sunlight 🌞 naturally lights up my notebook 📖. Sitting here before a date gave me the perfect chance to reflect and plan ahead 📝. Walked in yesterday late morning to buy a pound of coffee. Someone was making a coffee, so I waited at the counter for a long time, figuring she’d help me when she was done. No one showed up or acknowledged me. Finally the young woman finished making a coffee, walked by the counter, and went in the back after totally ignoring me again. I left after that.

The customer service here is not bad for a Peet's, it's bad for any business. The baristas are fine but on two occasions with 2 managers I had a bad experience; first the elderly lady who overruled the cashier to give me a stale pastry (practically but not literally shooing him away), and then the young lady who wouldn't make it right when I came back to let them know what I received. So easy to fix but she acted like she had no power to make an attempt to set it right.

Located in the downtown area, a good place for a coffee stop along with some shopping or even dining out at a larger place. The coffee quality was excellent and we received pleasant service.
