Just to be clear, this is not a “4 star restaurant”, it’s a 4star dive bar! Unassuming outside, friendly and large inside. My bro-in-law and I went there for late dinner after doing some work on his house. The kitchen was still open, with a fairly large menu; lots of burger options, a special chicken dinner and more. The place & the neighborhood looks forbidding, like a horror movie is about to be filmed. Go inside and you will find the complete opposite, good breakfasts & lunch fare, libations, specials, on and on... I like to go in on Sundays, when Andre rules the roost! Always fun, how dare they call this a dive!
Pretty interesting place with poker, darts and pool. You'll find an unusual but friendly crowd here. The food is pretty good with mostly burgers and such with rotating specials. Thursday is Prime Rib! Bar is pretty good with standard cocktail fare and beers on tap. My only complaint is the atmosphere which feels mildly uncomfortable. I can't say why exactly, but the feng shue is off.
