Following recommendations, we tried takeout. Be aware it takes longer than average. I ordered 4 items at 5:40 and pickup time was 6:15-6:30. I was there at 6:20. It was bagged & waiting with many other orders. There were few diners. It looked quite basic & not appealing as a destination unless bringing young children. The owner was gracious and friendly. This place is pretty awesome for lunch. The lunch special is a screaming deal. The entrees seemed to be cooked from scratch, which is pretty awesome. I had a really great lunch here.

Maybe the best value for Lunch in Marin County. Huge plate of food, still under $13. Soup, appetizer included. Food served in 5 minutes.
