I ordered 2 bacon breakfast burritos with no beans. I got a side of green salsa and red salsa. OK lets start with the salsa, it was pretty terrible. The green salsa tasted sour like mediterranean green sauce, maybe it had just gone bad, chucked straight in the bin. The red salsa tasted like marinara sauce, also straight in the bin. The eggs were burnt brown, no flavor and I don't know how you can mess up bacon, but it was tasteless. I don't plan on returning. Maybe the other stuff is okay. But I don't recommend the breakfast.

Fire tacos. Yet you're gonna need at least twenty dollars.

I just recently started frequenting this place... what a gem!
The food was done very well here which I found surprising for downtown San Rafael. I live in San Jose where there’s so many choices of good authentic Mexican food. The taco salad I got was so filling I couldn’t finish. I decided to try refried beans instead of whole but it made it kinda watery. That’s what I get for trying something out of ordinary for me so I’ll stick with my whole beans. The salsa bar was good as well and had all the salsas I like. I wish they had grilled jalapeños they offered but I also didn’t ask so will find out next time. The chips were freshly made which is important at any taqueria I feel. Not my number one choice but it’s definitely a top 5.
They treated me well, the atmosphere seems calm and the quesabirrias were good

Had the super Carne Asada with black beans, and I'll definitely be going back for more. My new go-to for Carne Asada burritos.

This is possibly the best little restaurant in the area.
Unlike most other establishments in the area they are not focusing on the ‘fancy’ crowd, but to provide excellent service and food quality.
Also, as a ‘real’ restaurant of this kind, they have cabeza, which is a staple I am always looking for.
This place is ridiculously good. Especially the soups. How good are the soups? Well, it's 86 degrees right now in San Rafael and I still went ahead with ordering the soup for lunch. That's how good the soups are.

Got two Bahia Burritos to go and they were outstanding. The Bahia burritos come with onions, tomatillos, cilantro and a choice of beans (black, pinto or refried.) tons of flavor and a little heat. Perfection, Huge choice of meat options too. Seating to eat in at booths or the counter and usually soccer on TV. Very friendly service too.

They are actually the best tacos in the area, if you want to really experience Mexican style tacos, go to this taqueria. I am eager to return again, I would improve some of their sauces, but in tacos they are the best, I recommend the campechanos.

So delicious! I ordered the Caldo de Marisco (mixed seafood soup) and it was phenomenal! It was a flavor explosion. Big chunks of seafood of all varieties like shrimp, real crab (in the shell), scallops, mussels (in shell) and white fish. Also potatoes, zucchini and other veggies. They gave me onions/cilantro/lime on the side to top it with.I'm so happy with my order it was absolutely delicious!! Will def be back!
