The servers need to remove whatever stick like object they have ever so gently lodge in an unpleasant region. Didn’t gather names of the girl and dude that were such vile individuals but it seems like a small and insignificant establishment so they’re probably the only two working there most of the time anyways. If you’re so unhappy with your lack of a career and you don’t know how to communicate properly, don’t work in the service industry.

Real traditional English pub. Food is quick and tastes like I'm back home in England. Service is super friendly and upbeat. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a fun, quick drink. Or if you want a nice lunch/dinner! Portions are huge and prices are fair. I'll definitely end up a regular here.

Absolutely horrible service. The workers here are blatantly rude and clearly need to brush up on how to speak to their customers. Didn't even make it through our meal before leaving due to incredibly rude and incompetent people who clearly have very little social understanding. Seems like maybe a niche location where low functioning workers and low functioning regulars are unwelcoming of new faces

My experience at Mayflower Inn (Pub) was just ok. A bit of meh, unfortunately. The atmosphere was good, the staff was attentive, but, those are not the reason you dine at a pub for Sunday supper. The disappointing bit was the food. Perhaps my entree was off this night, or perhaps the kitchen isn’t familiar with certain dishes, but a simple meat and potatoes shouldn’t taste boiled to death, flavourless, salt-less, season-less; if HP Sauce and Malt Vinegar are the only thing providing flavour, something is off.

Great friendly service! Beer selection was well rounded, meaning they had something for everyone’s tastes and the food was great. I had the Icelandic fish and chips and I couldn’t tell that I was not in Iceland. I was just in Iceland, literally their fish and chips were very comparable to the fish and chips I had in a pub in Reykjavik. The basil vinegarette salad dressing was amazing too and the salad ingredients were very fresh.

I would give zero stars if I could. My husband ordered fish and chips and I ordered fried fish tacos. First off we waited a long time for our food and once we finally got it there were many issues: my "crispy" fish was soggy and tasteless and the taco shells were wet and soggy too. Not ok! The chips were stale as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I also got a soda with lime that tasted like the bottom of a dirty sink. I let our waitress know about the quality of our food and drink and I expected her to at least comp the tacos but NO! She comped the $3 soda and nothing else!! I was shocked and should have said something but I didn't. We paid the $50 bill and did not leave a tip. I also have a stomach ache from the small amount I ate. I advise everyone to avoid this "pub" at all costs!!!

Been in here a few times and service is getting progressively worse. Java seems to hate her job and we overheard her telling another employee that she wanted to quit. She was insanely rude and short with us when they were out of the beer we wanted and my boyfriend thought she was drunk and maybe that's why she was so rude but I can't say for sure. I just don't understand why people stay at jobs they obviously hate, it really brings down the atmosphere. If you're pushing 40 with a terrible attitude it's probably time to find a job that doesn't depend on tips. Java's and the rest of your employees attitudes along with the dwindling beer selection will be the reason this once great bar fails.
