Food wasn’t very tasty. Calamari was bland. We had non alcoholic drinks, mine was the Marin County Mule and it was tart and I did not enjoy it. View from the top was okay, pricey at $11. Thought bill was high for what we had.

Wonderful!

A great pub and brewery on 4th street with a large patio in front and a comfortable setting indoors with seating for small and large groups. The wood fired pizza was excellent and went well with their craft beer. There's an abundance of character and good taste in this place.

LOVE this place, but if ordering anything other than pizza, I never quite feel I get my money’s worth. Their $30 salads are small and stingy with meat. GREAT service and cocktails though.

We had great service, but to noisy.

Food & cocktails were fine, service was good but the surprise hidden fee charged left a sour taste! They added a 4% "Living wage fee", without any clear display of those charges. (SB 1524). this is sneaky and as a small business owner just wrong. Just include in the cost like the rest of us do!

Super sweet place. Haley was wonderful - attentive but not overbearing. I loved that it was cat and dog friendly, and loved being able to sit on sidewalk. The rice ale was something super special - like sparkling wine, but in beer form? Try it! A star off because I THINK they’ve gotten a bit lazy with food details, since, with the exception of the Italian close by, they are one of only in their class in San Rafael - I think. Salmon was stingy in the Lomo lomo starter, which meant it was over-sauced, things were oversalted - but not with good salt. Lots of reliance on sauces, flavors not layered in. Also - the ‘living wage’ 3-4% add-on was irksome. We are already accustomed to paying 15-20+% tax in US, and servers often make more than most professions. If restaurant is going to charge ‘living wage’ tax - I just find that embarrassing. You’re charging it ubiquitously anyway, don’t grandstand about it, just build it into salaries and prices like any respectable business. This restaurant was lovely, but a few key things like this notched it down. Quite fixable things though. An investment in good salt and your humans never goes astray….
