Great food, cool place, and they have a ski-ball machine in the back! I got the poke bowl, which was fire.

Scrumptious gluten-free pizza crust with vegan cheese option to go with real pepperoni and sausage. Perfection for those of us who are not vegans but don't do well with gluten or dairy. And the service was stellar to boot.

Finally a decent restaurant in San Rafael.
I had bad luck all week other than my dinner here.
First, the service is great. Friendly and professional all the way, along with great support staff to make sure everything is taken care of.
I had the dungenous crab sandwich and it was absolutely incredible. Fresh, delicious, and the perfect amount of food. The fries are great too.
For dessert I had the strawberry cobbler. Amazing. Absolutely devine.
I highly recommend The State Room.

Pricey but food was good. Parking kinda sucks. The wait staff are obviously young and not as experienced in customer service but they were decent and food came super fast. I was just passing through San Rafael so I doubt I'll be back but it was good! They also have a skee ball machine near the back and my son said it was like $5 for 5 games. Considering the cost of food the game would be good offered for free but everyones gotta get their dolla dolla bills up! 🤑

Good in almost every way! * Includes vegetarian choices and Gluten Free options.
*One thing that did not make sense is cheese is an extra charge on a $20 burger and garlic on fries is extra charge. Not sure what that is about.

Got pizza, salads,a beef dish, appetizers, garlic noodles and all of it was pretty good and not over the top expensive. The hostess was awesome and patient. Be sure to try the spicy green beans

Food wasn’t very tasty. Calamari was bland. We had non alcoholic drinks, mine was the Marin County Mule and it was tart and I did not enjoy it. View from the top was okay, pricey at $11. Thought bill was high for what we had.

Wonderful!

A great pub and brewery on 4th street with a large patio in front and a comfortable setting indoors with seating for small and large groups. The wood fired pizza was excellent and went well with their craft beer. There's an abundance of character and good taste in this place.

LOVE this place, but if ordering anything other than pizza, I never quite feel I get my money’s worth. Their $30 salads are small and stingy with meat. GREAT service and cocktails though.

This is a great local place with wonderful staff and great specials!

We had great service, but to noisy.

Food & cocktails were fine, service was good but the surprise hidden fee charged left a sour taste! They added a 4% "Living wage fee", without any clear display of those charges. (SB 1524). this is sneaky and as a small business owner just wrong. Just include in the cost like the rest of us do!
