Well diversified menu with something for everyone in your group. Dishes are very flavorful, so good that we all mentioned it.

My friends and I had the worst experience ever. From the moment we walked in, we didn’t feel welcomed. The menus were tossed onto the table without so much as a greeting, and the service remained consistently poor throughout our visit. My friend asked for maple syrup with her pancakes - something you’d reasonably expect to be included - only to discover a $3 charge on the bill. When we questioned it, our server gave us a hard time before reluctantly removing the charge.
Given the unwelcoming atmosphere and overall terrible service, we collectively decided not to leave a tip. To make matters WORSE, one of the staff actually RAN OUT of the restaurant chasing us to confront us about it. We explained that our server had been extremely rude, but the entire situation just reinforced our decision.
Our experience here was super unpleasant from start to finish. If you’re looking to enjoy good food with decent service, I’d strongly suggest going elsewhere.

This place is pretty incredible. I've only gone for dinner so far but the service and food were excellent. Please go support them, we need more places of this caliber in San Rafael.

Ordered veggie omelette which per menu has spinach, mushrooms, tomato, avocado and feta. Arrived with red bell peppers which I don’t care for . When I asked server if they were bell peppers she checked menu and said were tomatoes. I then tasted one and told her they are peppers. She then asked me to open omelette to see if peppers throughout. I had to ask for a new omelette. When it came had tomatoes but now had onions and no cheese. Potatoes needed salt. Basil chicken was good.

What a charming gem! We were instantly enchanted by the atmosphere—chic, warm, and thoughtfully designed. But the real magic began with the food.

The mascarpone pancakes? An absolute dream. Fluffy, rich, and delicately balanced with just the right touch of sweetness—they melted in our mouths and left us completely smitten. Without a doubt, some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had! 😍🥞

We also ordered a fresh, vibrant salad, chicken and rice, and eggs benedict—each dish beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. The flavors were clean, elevated, and clearly crafted with care.

Looked at the menu and was concerned at the relatively steep price, but the value turned out incredible. Great portions, excellent menu variety with unique choices, as well as delicious food and quality presentation in all their dishes. Very friendly service staff, could up the atmosphere a bit but overall amazing experience.

Amazing food, can't go wrong with anything here! Had the Thai Tea Pancakes, the Strawberry Matcha Latte, and the Spicy Basil Chicken rice bowl. They were all phenomenal. Reasonable pricing for the portions and the staff were all very kind and friendly, 5 stars across the board!

I really wanted to love Tutu Lounge. The first time I came here two weeks ago, it was a slower Saturday morning and everything was lovely. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was delicious. I had the butterfly pea lemonade and the waffle and egg combo, both of which were great. My mom ordered the Benedict and enjoyed it just as much. We left feeling like we had found a new neighborhood favorite and even added it to our regular rotation.

Unfortunately, my second visit this morning was a completely different experience. From the moment we walked in, something felt off. There seemed to be only three people working, and all of them came across as rushed and honestly, a bit rude. We waited a long time just to place our order, and then waited nearly 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Our drinks hadn’t even come out yet. We were later told that the drink order “didn’t print for the barista,” which felt more like an excuse than an explanation considering the people who sat next to us arrived after us and received their food and drinks before we did.

When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing. I ordered the Tutu French toast, which was a strange mix of savory and sweet. The flavors didn’t blend well and it was hard to finish. One of the people I was with got a side of sourdough toast with avocado smeared on it, which was confusing since there was no avocado in her actual order. It made us wonder if it had been pulled from someone else’s plate.

When we were ready to leave, we asked for the bill and no one came back for another 15 minutes. A server even knocked my purse off the back of my chair and barely acknowledged it. We eventually had to go up to the front counter just to pay and leave.

I wish my second visit had been as good as the first, but the inconsistency in service and food quality was too frustrating to ignore. I won’t be returning.

Tu Tu for the win. The squash curry and pad Thai are 10/10 as are the samosas and gyoza. We are repeat customers it’s our favorite Thai food in the area. It is expensive - classic you get what you pay for.

Great creative dinner menu. Been going to this place for years especially for brunch. It's always been one of my favorites. I believe there is new management that has created an exceptional dinner menu.
