We had higher expectations for the place, service was too slow, fish tacos was the worst in my life ... maybe some people like it way too fishy but I could not enjoy mine, seviche was plain....

Lots of choices on the menu. Don’t get the calamari, though. Too greasy. Potatoes and chicken skewers were excellent, though. Get a half carafe of Sangria to wash it all down.

Bites of friends’ dishes were good (recommend the jerk chicken), but there was definitely something wrong with the sour-ish fish tacos. Not sure if it was the age of the onion, bad mayo, or what, but I couldn’t convince myself to finish more than one and I always clean my plate. The sangria was also juice - don’t expect a “drink”.

Just had a great dinner at Whipper Snapper. The warm spinach salad is so delicious. Like lick the plate delicious. We also had the sliders, which were very tasty. Love the passion fruit mousse for dessert. And the Pilsner on tap is really really good. Will go back again soon. What a wonderful local gem. Let’s support them!

This place is a vibe. From the food, to the music and the atmosphere. Come for a drink and stay for the amazing fish tacos. The spicy Cajun shrimp are a must have, and I love the Zarzuela which is a tomato based seafood medley with the most tender local fish you will ever have. The service is always amazing and Bill, the head chef and owner is a great guy and a culinary talent.Don't sleep on this place. It has something for everyone... and don't forget to grab a pitcher of Sangria which is the best in the city.

This place tastes like Taco Bell but you're paying $ 30 for rice and beans. Overpriced with mediocre service.

Wonderful, festive, but low-key Caribbean atmosphere, sure to put you in a good mood. We've been going there for years, and it's become one of our favorite places. The food is varied, delicious, and the presentation just adds to the appeal. The calamari is better than any other place we've had it, and the cowboy steak is an unforgettable blend of tastes and textures. And then there's the sangria! The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting Whipper Snapper, give yourself a treat. You won't be sorry!

Ate here once during Dining Under the Lights on a Thursday. Was very busy but they were very accommodating. Marianna was a real whipper snapper! The veggie quesadilla and the spicy shrimp/sauce were super yum.
