“Oh G Burger is a cozy place tucked on A Street in Hayward. With a wide seating area and bright, red, white and blue walls, it brings a more retro atmosphere, helped by the selection of 80's, 90's and 00's music. Aesthetically, it's somewhere between an old-school diner and a cafeteria, and I greatly appreciate that.
During my visit, the owner made sure to meet my needs in a timely and respectful manner. Ice for my drink was available on request, as well as water (and water cups). I noted that the owner was also very close with his regulars, but also willing to give a customer space if he felt that they wanted to be alone. It seems that management is in good hands.
On this first visit, I ordered the Hayward Burger combo. To be honest, I didn't take a closer look at the menu and just picked on the spot - almost none of the ingredients in the burger itself were anything I would have normally had. Based on its individual ingredients, I should have hated what I ordered... but I didn't! The combination of flavors made what would have been an unpleasant experience in lesser hands, a pleasantly surprising one. Even if I don't know whether or not I will order another Hayward Burger, it's certainly changed my opinion on bell peppers for the future. For that, I have to give a 5 star rating for the food - at any other place, I think I would have hated it.

“I ordered a cheese pizza and one with chicken, pineapple and onion. Both were very tasty.
Also I ordered over the phone on their voicebit AI system and it was really easy.
My only complaint is that I wish the bottom was a bit more crispy. Otherwise, the pizza was yummy.“

“I just started working in the area. I was looking for something to pick up for lunch. I did a search and found a few places but ultimately decided on Danville Kitchens. I'm so glad I picked this restaurant. The spaghetti with marinara sauce and added ground beef was amazing. I also asked them to make it spicy and they didn't disappoint. If you haven't had the opportunity to try this place, I highly recommend you stop by or place an online order.“

“Yesterday was my very first time visiting Curry Pizza House, and honestly, it was the best pizza experience I’ve ever had! I met Nav, who took my order, and she was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.
I was a little nervous because I had to order a huge amount of pizzas for my friend’s birthday party — everyone was counting on me, and it felt like a big responsibility 😅. But Nav helped me choose the right pizzas, gave great suggestions, and made the whole process super easy.
When the pizzas arrived, they were absolutely amazing — every single one was delicious! All my friends loved them, and the party was a hit thanks to Curry Pizza House.
I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend everyone give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed! 🍕🙌“

The only drawback is the limited food options, but you’re welcome to bring your own, which adds to the laid-back experience. “Wow, I’m not usually a sauerkraut fan except in a Ruben, but Headlands sauerkraut side served with the sausage plate is the best I’ve ever had! It has jalapeños in it giving it a perfect amount of mild spice. And get the brown and/or IPA mustard for the sausage. Yum!“

“This is hands down one of my favorite pizza spots in the San Francisco Bay Area! As a Chicago transplant, I know a thing or two about pizza—and this place absolutely holds its own. Honestly, it’s probably a good thing it’s 1,500 miles away from me now, because if I lived any closer, I’d be 400 pounds! As a cyclist, I’m always looking for a solid carb load, and their "single slice" is nearly the size of a small pizza anywhere else. I went with a classic cheese slice and a meat lover’s style loaded with pepperoni and sausage—both were incredible. This place not only hits the spot but also brings back memories of my time at East Bay State. Well worth the visit every time I’m back in town!“
