I'm a big Boba Guy (pun). Seriously though this was for sure one of my favorite Boba places I've been too. They had some different types of Boba (along with the classics) that I really enjoyed. I got the Korean Milk something something and it was fantastic.

SF East Bay. Tried their seasonal drinks - hojicha banana milk & pandan caramel latte - which we enjoyed! Their bobas are always perfectly cooked ??

I’ve given this spot a few tries, but the last 3 times that I’ve ordered from there, the drinks have tasted like sugary water vs milk tea. Would recommend going to Teaspoon on Market Pl or anywhere else for your boba

Gone are the days when you go to a boba spot and you assume you'll get boba (for free) with your drink. I guess I'm old school but yeah, lesson learned here! I ordered via their app stand b/c the line was massive. I assumed that the boba option was only if you wanted "extra" so I didn't think anything of it until I got my espresso milk tea and there was no boba in it. Epic fail on my end! At that time, they were having a halo halo drink and I ordered that for my Mom... she said it was too sweet so she ended up only drinking half. I don't know if I'm going to try them again since I'm still a bigger fan of Yifang.

We are waiting for the order for 30 minutes, from the beginning of the opening. There is not even toilet paper in the morning, why is one person preparing drinks and another cashier helping him? Put more people on shift. The most amazing thing is that the staff is not even in a hurry to serve customers.

After lunch, we had a hankering for boba. I was mostly attracted to the armadillo-looking logo because I like armadillos. The café is apparently a local chain so that's good. Boba Guys is located in the shopping center and next to one of the staircases of the parking garage. The workers were friendly and fast. I liked the modern, minimalist style. But the cafe seems to be a bit older or more trafficked so it wasn't as nice as Bishop Farm. I like that they have bamboo straws but they are a fail. They cracked as I tried to suck up the boba. Maybe you need to let the straw sit in the drink for a while so the bamboo isn't brittle?????We got their seasonal mixes so this review won't be as helpful. Seasonal is nice, because that means the menu is always changing. That also means the Yelp menu pictures are unreliable. I ordered some green drink with yuzu which was all sour and I didn't like it. My mom got mango matcha. The mango was overpowered by the matcha. The ube with jackfruit and coconut for my dad. He liked it best of the three but he personally would rather have something more simple. So maybe the ube latte which is part of the regular menu would have been better. Going back, we noticed several cars recklessly speeding at the blind curves in the parking garage without concern for pedestrians. And because the garage is so narrow, there is a higher curve:straight portions of the garage than most other mall garages. I do not recommend parking here if you have kids. Some pedestrians were also too trusting of cars and attempted to cross without looking to see if there were cars. But there are gates at the entrance and exit of the garage for crossing pedestrians. Pros: This boba join offers unique flavors, is not as artificial-tasting, and attempts to be more green m/environmentally conscious. Boba Guys is located in a lively shopping center and is conveniently located next to the parking garage. Cons: The drinks were not outstanding regardless of price. I don't have much interest in returning with so many boba options. I didn't like the non-functional bamboo straws, the seating area was dirty, and I didn't like the parking garage.

The sapin sapin drink tasted EXACTLY like the dessert. An automatic 5 stars for this seasonal drink!Otherwise you can't go wrong with Boba Guys. It's always a solid choice when you need a break from shopping. The boba shop is airy, clean and has super friendly staff!

Not sure if we got a mediocre batch, but the milk tea and boba did not live up to the hype we expected. 3.5 stars for now until another try in the future

This place fell off. Drinks are consistently made wrong. I had to ask for my drink to be made twice. Lady in front of me asked for a refund because they couldn’t make her drink properly (twice). Go to Teaspoon down to the street, you won’t regret it.

It was good, first time trying Boba. Got the lychee one. Quick service, very friendly staff. You can ask for a sample. Will visit again!

This is the second time trying Boba Guy's and it is the last. The first time, a regular milk tea boba was very bland and watered down, no tea flavor, lots of ice. Not impressed. Went there today based on a friend's rave review for their house made almond jelly with a milk tea boba. I requested less ice. Revelation: Boba Guys uses a larger cubed ice, which takes up so much volume resulting in me finishing the beverage in less than five minutes. Oat milk was barely incorporated and the drink was very underwhelming and watery with no tea taste. Flavor has an odd sweetness. Overhyped boba, but their boba is US made, lol. Whoopdeedoo.

Brought this up to Boba Guys support and they just ignored me so Im leaving a 1 star review now. When you order your drink in the store, you can choose your ice level. And on mobile ordering, there use to be a "Ice Level" option also. ....But now they removed the ice level option for mobile ordering (only mobile) and refuse to add it back. Yet you still get the ice level option in the store, but not on mobile? Makes no sense. All locations all drinks, all seasons year around. And considering their logo on the cups is a Spock Vulcan hand sign, this is NOT logical at all. Insult to the Vulcan culture.

At first Boba Guys was only available in SF so I’m glad they started opening stores around the Bay Area like Palo Alto, San Jose and San Ramon. This place never disappoints from drinks to service! Very consistent all around. I enjoy their seasonal drinks which are tasty and unique. I always look forward to their caramel matcha drink but it’s not always available.Tip: order for pick up. It’s easy and fast!
