We love this old-fashioned restaurant and try to go a couple of times per month. It is generally a relaxing and delicious dinner venue. Last night, however, it was extremely busy and noisy. The server was excellent, but obviously frazzled. We've never seen it so busy. Our server said that it had been that way all evening. Also, they were out of both mashed and baked potatoes. Service was slow . Waited 15 minutes and no server came to our table to take our order . Had to go up to the front and ask for a server. Person who sat us .. then asked where are you sitting at . Food was over cooked . As for Medium rare on the Rib Eye steak .. steak had no blood on it . Server did not once stop by our table and asked how our food was and if we needed a refill on our beverage. She did pass by our table several times in a rush as too pretend to not see us .. may...

I've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and it still doesn't disappoint. Petrale sole is my favorite, and it still tastes as good today as my first experience many years ago. I'm so happy this family owned restaurant is still in business and thriving.
