We enjoyed our lunch at the Brass Door, our Servers very attentive: Food was good, so sorry they will soon be closing, longtime customers there. For Nextdoor community recommendation is to seat not in Fireplace area (once a favorite of ours), no “fires” burning there now. Try back rooms for meals or potentially at bar, more casual. -N&J

My friend and I both ordered the low carb mixed grill and it was absolutely PERFECT! Just the right size, cooked well, and tasty. Our server was great. Didn't really enjoy being seated at a table in the very back of the large dining room when there were open tables closer to the front of the restaurant, however. Wondered why.

We love this old-fashioned restaurant and try to go a couple of times per month. It is generally a relaxing and delicious dinner venue. Last night, however, it was extremely busy and noisy. The server was excellent, but obviously frazzled. We've never seen it so busy. Our server said that it had been that way all evening. Also, they were out of both mashed and baked potatoes.
