They were kind to accommodate our dietary restrictions. I'm very happy with the food (i.e., good portion size and very delicious) and will definitely order again! Thanks again!

If there was zero I would have given that..who puts peas in Chicken Biryani? Also it tasted so bad and stale smelling.

I love it. It’s my favorite Indian and buffet restaurant. Would recommend to others

Hasan the owner was gracious and generous. The Indian food was fresh and delicious. Portions were extremely HUGE. The outdoor patio dining scene is breathtakingly gorgeous. The ambience of this restaurant is simply stunning ! We arrived on a perfectly sunny Sunday at 11 am and dined outdoors on the patio deck, enjoying the views of lovely landscaping which surrounded us. We will be dining here again! Definitely worth the drive from Oakland.

My husband & I decided to try Venue, a new restaurant that had opened up nearby. We are thrilled that we did. Everything we ordered ( tandoori shrimp, tandoori chicken, basmati rice & plain naan bread) was tasty & full of wonderful flavors, but the star of the show was the tandoori chicken!! Lucky for us the servings were quite large so we took home enough food for another delish meal. We are very excited to have such a flavorous & tantalizing restaurant in our neighborhood.

I'm a little confused on the high rating of this place. We ordered take out last night and let me just say, my Indian food craving was NOT satisfied. I'm a huge fan of India Garden in Pleasanton but we decided to try something new a little closer to home. We placed our order online an hour before we got there and when my husband went in to pick it up, they said it wasn't ready. The first turn off was the waitress / hostess was NOT wearing her mask. She put it on when my husband walked in but she kept pulling it down when she spoke. She told him it'll be 5-10 minutes. So he came back outside to wait. 10 minutes later, he walks back in, this time she didn't even bother putting on her mask and said it's still not ready. There was one table in the whole place so I have no idea what the hold up was. We finally got our food 15 minutes later. The first thing I noticed when my husband put the food in the car is, all I smelled was the naan. Typically when we have Indian food, the smell is overpowering and you get all these wonderful spice smells, but all I smelled was naan. We ordered: Shrimp tandoori - fresh shrimp but bland flavor Lamb chops - same as shrimp Chicken tikka masala - tasted like preggo tomato sauce, no Indian flavors at all Saag Paneer - bland Garlic naan - it was ok. Again it was pretty bland, barely any garlic. The 2 stars is because the ingredients were fresh but I will definitely not be going back.

Why is this place empty in Sunday evening??? I've never enjoyed Indian food, however my wife does. So I made points by choosing Venue. Wow! The food was awesome with deep rich flavors. Great service and plate recommendations. Reasonably priced for the quality of the dishes. I'm now a fan of Indian food from Venue!

It was our first time yesterday, I have to say this was the BEST! we ordered saag paneer that was perfect, wasn’t spicy just they way we like, came in small quantity. We also got chicken briyani, which was good, came in large quantity. Then we got one order of paneer pokoras came in 6 that was yummy! Lastly mango laci which was perfectly creamy and sweet!

I am so happy that I stumbled upon this restaurant!! My coworker and I wanted to try something new other then the typical restaurants we venture to in Danville. I searched Yelp and found this new gem! I loved the atmosphere, the Indian music playing in the background, and the delicious food!! San Ramon needed a restaurant like this!! Hands down the best samosas I have ever had! Everything was fresh and came out warm! I will be back (especially when it's warmer weather and we can sit out on the cute patio) !!

4.5 stars The name of the restaurant and bar "Venue" sounds rather generic, but make no mistake--the menu here offered a selection of seriously good North Indian dishes with bold flavors and spices! We started out with an appetizer of the "cocktail samosas," which were a plate of 6 mini samosas with a potato and pea filling--not bad, but in retrospect, I would've rather ordered the regular "large" version of the samosa. For entrees, our waitress recommended the Achari Chicken, a super flavorful curry made with pickled green chilies and chunks of chicken breast--the chunky gravy was unlike any other curry I've had, combining spicy, briney, and acidic flavors in every bite! We also got the Mutton Masala, which came with two lamb chops in a chunky, sweet, and acidic tomato-based gravy. But my favorite dish was the Chana Masala, made with chickpeas cooked in a tomato-based curry--the chickpeas themselves were so soft, tender, and super satisfying, while the curry had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. All of these dishes went nicely with the freshly-baked tandoori breads we ordered on the side: the chapati, the sesame roghni naan, and my favorite, the potato naan, which contained a stuffing of spiced mashed potatoes that gave the bread an amazing soft and chewy texture. All the curries also went nicely with the herb chutney, tamarind chutney, and raita we got on the side, which balanced out all of the spices with a nice cooling touch. The last item we tried was the Empire Platter, a combination of different tandoori meats from the menu. The portion size of this platter (and really all of the dishes we ordered) was absolutely massive--our server first brought out a full metal platter of tandoori chicken, which came with no less than seven pieces of red-tinged thighs and drumsticks. We asked our server if they had perhaps gotten our order wrong, but it turns out that the full platter of tandoori chicken was just the first half of the order! Soon after, we received yet another sizzling platter with malai tikka (chicken breast in a creamy marinade), tandoori shrimps, and two whole lamb chops! What a feast of meat--every component was perfectly spiced, smokey, charred, and delicious! The massive portion sizes and the value for food here were unbelievable, and we had plenty to take home afterwards!

Venue Restaurant and Bar takes over the space vacated by Worth Ranch. Still under Covid protocols, the interior is the same as the previous establishments. There is outside dinning along the side of the restaurant in the common space area with tables and patio umbrellas. Definitely, going through new restaurant service issues, our late Sunday lunch started off rough. Literally, the owner was the only person working the front of the house. He apologized and explained other servers had gone home. The menu of Indian cuisine is comprehensive with vegetarian, meat and seafood items. The food is good and the portions are excellent. We ordered the following: Cauliflower 5 stars still firm not mushy, full of flavor. Chicken Tikki Marsala 4 stars, lots of sauce, large cuts of chicken. Seekh Kabob 4.5 stars ground beef kabob. Comes hot on a sizzling platter. Garlic Naan 5 stars, soft and lots of garlic flavor. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. Hopefully, they will be able to work through the service issues. Yelp check in discount off of $50 or more.

The husband and I decided to drop in for a quick drink to relax a bit. (We have 3 small children) so getting away at any chance we could get was optimal. Anywho, we were greeted by a sweetheart of a lady who also ended up being our bartender. The bar was nice and had a wide variety of different liquors. Customer service was stellar and the food smelled sooo yummy. I regretted eating dinner before we came by this place so I grabbed a menu to order in the near future. The husband and I will definitely be frequenting this place for a Quick recharge away from the offsprings. Thanks again to the lovely bartender!

Had charga pulao with chicken from the Rice section. It came with a couple of Leg Quarters. The charga Spices on the thigh and leg pieces were much much milder than the Tandoori masala. It was nice to eat with the veg pulao. They also have whole charga chicken on the grill and tandoor section.

Delicious food and great service. I really liked the Malai Chicken Tikka and Reshmi Chicken.
