A solid 4.5 stars. Normally, we do take out from Imperial Palace; but, we have dined in too. The two female servers are very efficient, polite, and quick. My husband eats here more than me. He absolutely loves it here. His favorite dish is the rib eye steak with mushrooms. As long as they continue to be fair with their portions; he'll be a lifer here. Lol. Last time, I ordered the beef tomato/tomato beef. Of course, the hubz had to help himself to my food too. Smh. When he does that, he loves the food. IMO it's rude (lol); but, when we find a solid place in San Ramon; I'll take it. The restaurant is always busy when we walk in and you can see that they have their regulars here. The ambiance isn't anything fancy; but, that is fine with me as long as the food tastes 'ono, portions are on point, and service is decent. I still get a kick when I saw the green beans on the table. That's straight old school in my book. I loved that.

Omg! The MONGOLIAN CHICKEN is amazing!!! I'm so happy I discovered this place on DoorDash! I didn't realize it was right next to my local Trader Joe's. I have eaten there twice this week already . YUMMM. Customer service was fantastic in person as well. Mongolian chicken + broccoli

2nd time here ! The service is always great ! The portions are great for family style and they also have options for smaller groups , the food is lean and full of veggies , of course depending what you order . The place is clean and it always smells yummy ! I have left overs ! What !!!! I'm used to finishing a plate and I just can't seem to finish . I highly recommend this spot if your around the area

This is a biased review as this is one of the longest standing business in the market place shopping center. I was recently back in the area after leaving for many years. I was pleased to see that Imperial Delight was still there and thriving. The food is good and fast... very conventional western Chinese cuisine (exactly what I'm looking for when I order). Very traditional service with no complaints. I usually order food to go and haven't dined in for over a decade, but I was pleased to see it was still what I remembered it. If you are looking for a well established that has lasted the test of time... this is the spot. I hope this place is here for another 20+ years

Delicious, authentic Chinese food. Reminds me of Oakland Chinatown joints. We had the beef chow fun and that was cooked perfectly. You can taste the wok hei. Mongolian combo was really good too, just spicy enough. Salt and pepper calamari had a nice crunchy batter. So glad i found this place.
