Based on the reviews, Andaman Thai San Ramon offers a mix of great and so-so dishes in a good ambience. The dining space is clean and well coordinated, though the indoor space is limited and the single washroom can be a bottleneck. The food is flavorful and comforting, with fresh, little to none frozen ingredients. Some dishes are great, like the fried rice, drunken noodles, red curry, Satay beef, Palatha, tom yum soup, fried calamari, basil fried rice, Pineapple Fried Rice (which comes in a real pineapple), Yellow Chicken Curry, and Tofu Madness. However, other items are just so-so; the sauce with the roti was way too salty, the roti itself wasn’t fluffy and came out a bit cold, and the tofu sauce was mostly mayonesse. The service is absolutely spot on and attentive, even close to closing time. The waiting time can be a bit long, with a really long wait line for good reason. Everything is flavorful, comforting, and a little more elevated than the usual chain-style Thai food. The Lychee Iced Tea is also recommended. Overall, it is a memorable experience and one of the best Thai food options.
