I have been to multiple Mediterranean restaraunts around the globe as I travel a lot. Genuinely speaking the food here tasted better than every single Michelin restaraunt, and Mediterranean restaraunts I’ve ever been to. I tried multiple stuff like the shish lamb burger, shish combo plate, kafta, lavash wrap, and I especially recommend the spicy chicken over the rice. It was the best chicken I’ve had in my life, and the service was amazing. Food comes out at a very good rate, and the serving sizes are huge. I promise if you get anything on the menu you will be satisfied.

I ordered the shish combo plate and the lamb burger, and both were really good. The meat was flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. The lamb burger especially stood out—juicy and full of flavor.
Overall, great food and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Lebanese food.

Update 09/03/2025 Ordered two Shawarmas, one chicken and one beef. Also got hummus, spicy potatoes and soup. OMG, everything was so flavorful. It was different from other shawarmas I have had but delicious. The spicy potatoes and its sauce were the stars. Later, I will have my Ashtalia.😋😋😋
I tried this place for the first as I just moved to San Ramon. One of the best Lebanese Restaurants I have tried. The lamb shank and rice with tabbouli was excellent . The Falafel was the best I have had and I have had them all over the USA. They were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The tahini sauce was a perfect accompaniment. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to shop at their store. Thanks for the great food! I had to edit my review to add the Ashtalia which I tried for the first time. So unbelievably delicious, light but flavorful. One of my favorite desserts now!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I’ve tried many places in the Bay Area, but this is without a doubt my number one restaurant for Lebanese and Mediterranean food. From the quality of the ingredients to the warm hospitality, everything about this place makes you want to come back again and again.
They also have very comfortable and relaxing music that makes dining there even more enjoyable. On top of that, their catering service is excellent — I’ve used them for my events, and the food and service were outstanding.
If you want to experience real Mediterranean flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch catering, Shish Grill is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Best Mediterranean and Lebanese food in Ca. The Shish Tawook ( (Chicken Kabob) is very tender. The Hummus is creamy and delicious. The Knafeh and Ashtalia are great desserts to finish your meal. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back. Shish Grill is hidden secret in the Bay Area. Staff are very attentive and very knowledgeable. Love the atmosphere especially the patio with all the beautiful roses outside. Restaurant is very clean. Absolutely the best Lebanese food I had coming from Anaheim area.

Holy moly! I have eaten here numerous times, but this is the first time I went out of my comfort zone and tried something different. I am not a fan of food that’s too spicy, but I heard several people ordering it so I thought I would give it a try. Boy was I pleasantly surprised at how tasty the “Shish Shawarma Grill Wrap with Beef and Lamb” was. It comes with the best French Fries too! The first bite I wasn’t sure if I would be able to eat it because it did pack a punch, but after a few more bites, the flavor was so good. I definitely recommend it and I will order it again!

I will like to add that service could be better. While ordering my food I had asked to dine in and requested to pack some other items (ordered all at once). However, everything was packed as a to go order. So I did not receive the dine in experience. Granted I was in a rush, and decided not to have anything rectified... I was left a little disappointed with the service. I still ate there out of the to go box because I was hungry.
It could have been a misunderstanding...so, will let that slide bc the food was great.
