Second time they've accepted a DoorDash order, confirmed it, then cancelled after 30 minutes because the staff wants to close early. Used to be good and has gone downhill under the new owners. Don't bother.

I've been coming to this place for about 6 years but won't be back because of the food! The service has always been great but the food changed and prices are extremely high. I can't believe I paid $15 for chicken tenders & fries. It was great before but today was the food was totally different quality than before.

Very disappointed with what we experienced tonight. We are locals and have visited this restaurant many times in the the past. We had plans to go see a movie at City Center and instead of dining in the mall, we decided to visit Hopyard and give them our business. I was shocked at the quality of the food.. We had 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals.. My daughter had the macaroni and cheese which was just a box of kraft Mac and cheese. It was served cold and appeared to have been prepared prior to service and just reheated in the microwave. My son had a hamburger which was a very thin frozen burger patty and was flavorless. He wouldn't eat his meal..The French fries served with both kids entrees were cold and tasted stale. The kid's meals come with a drink and we requested a glass of milk for our three-year-old but they told us they were out. But we paid full price anyway. I had the philly steak sandwich. The steak was dry and the bread was stale....I subbed my fries for a cup of soup for an additional $4. It was a chicken vegetable soup and was nothing more than a watery broth, with chicken, mushy carrots and celery. We expressed our dissatisfaction to our waiter but he just apologized and brought us the check for $110. No manager approached us and nobody seemed to care. We are so sad to see such a wonderful neighborhood establishment go down so badly. We will never visit this restaurant again.....

A few friends and I shared some food there and I’ll say it was very good and also it wasn’t very expensive. There drinks are also good and it’s an amazing spot to spend time w friends

Not thrilled with anything. The burger was the worst, could have got a frozen tray with just as good taste. The chicken was dry and food i had, can't even recall exactly what it was, oh yeah, Nacho's. Chips were ok, the meat again was low rate, and the veggies were not fresh. The helpings were humongous. The beer, was a outstanding selection. Good thing there was a treat place near by.

This review is for take out food. We had found this place through nearby places open on Friday night. It's located in the complex near Trader Joe's. It looks like a fun place to go to and maybe a future pub night one day. I ordered the Korean burger and it had a nice spicy kick. My husband had the fish and chips. The fish was hot and crispy. Fries are definitely hard to do take out and weren't as optimal to eat later.

The bartenders don’t really care to be helpful unless you’re dressed in a suit, and one of the foreign workers will awkwardly stand around and just stare at you as if you are from a circus sideshow. Not going back. The beer was alright though, so two stars. It’s mostly a senior citizen restaurant and bar.

We're thinking that something's up with the Hop Yard these days. New ownership? Hubby ordered a favorite, fish and chips, the batter was different on the onion rings. The format of the beer menu has changed. It's a shame that the tried and true menu is losing its appeal.

The staff are the only reason to come here anymore. The owners keep finding new ways to cheapen the feeling of this local favorite and drive out any potential enjoyable atmosphere. Let's hope they sell the place to someone who understands people and listens to their customers suggestions.

Indoor and outdoor seating with TV for sports. Good takeout service. We go here for burgers or sandwiches.

Great burger and garlic fries! Plus plenty of beers to try while waiting and eating. Great local place to hangout out and watch the Warriors

We have been regular customers of Hopyard for over 2 years. However, our experience the last 2 times we have visited has been very disappointing. We have found service to be slow and the quality of the food has deteriorated to the point we had to send back a salad because the lettuce was brown. We won't be going back for awhile. The beer menu remains fantastic.

Prices in restaurant is 130% more than shown. Manager would not honor menu posted price.

This is the best pub in the San Ramon Valley. They have the best beer list and a fine wine list. They have The Best barmaids, bartenders and waitresses. The outside patio is awesome. The inside dining is great They have the friendliest bar in the area. Their cheese steak is second to none. A nice variety on the menu. Note: This pub is ADA compliant. All are welcome. If I could give it 7 stars, I would.

Attentive service, tasty appetizers (wings, sliders, nachos and shrimp) all went down great with a couple pints of cold local craft brews like Altamont, Drake's and RRBC Pliny the Elder DIPA. Glad we came here instead of the clubhouse at the Bridges golf club after our round.
