So Velasco's is very popular in our little town of Sanger Ca. It's got allot of faithful patrons that frequent it. It is very popular with the after church crowd on Sundays. Been around for quite some time and is a locally owned business.So here is my humble scoop. It is relatively clean and kept up. The building itself is old, been around for more than 20 years and it shows. Great food and friendly staff. But very inconsistent with what hours they are open. They close constantly at odd moments like the middle of the day. They post their hours are at 9 am opening but they don't actually allow patrons in til 9:15 or later and forget calling because they rarely answer their phone. It's one of my favorite places to dine but they have issues they need addressed and they definitely need to upgrade their decor. It's so dated and grungy looking

Still one of my favorite places to eat!Been gone from Sanger a year and just came back to Fresno to visit family. Hap to come here and eat because Mexican food isn't the same out in Georgia and nothing comes close for me! Velascos is the best!
