The bread here is to die for, especially the sourdough. It’s soft and fresh, with the write amount of brunch. The focaccia is also very good. The chai latte is also very good—whatever blend of spices that they use is very good quality.

Keep in mind, the bread will spoil in about 6-7 days (which is a good thing). The customer service is pretty good. It’s a crowded place, so definitely expect a line on Saturdays, and other peak times.

6100 Bread makes some of the best sourdough and focaccia I’ve had. The sourdough has that perfect balance of tangy flavor and airy crumb with a beautifully crisp crust. Their focaccia is next-level — fluffy, rich with olive oil, and perfectly seasoned. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. Absolutely worth it!

Yeah its expensive, but jeezas, the sweets here are simply unreal. Its worth the money for a treat, life changing bread. I could go into detail, but I'd rather you find out yourself

Quality is good but the prices are out of hand. When a few baked goods cost as much as a dinner for 4 that’s just plain crazy.

You guys are genuinely one of the best bakers in town, and that’s exactly why this is frustrating. You’re only open four days a week, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., so you’d expect inventory to be better managed during those limited hours.

This is now the third time I’ve driven out only to find that you were sold out of several items—and this time it was 10 a.m. on a Thursday. There was a sign on the door listing what wasn’t available, including croissants.

I get that you’re popular and doing a lot right, but don’t let success turn into complacency. Riding the popularity wave is great, but it only takes a few repeat disappointments for loyal customers to stop coming back.

You’re clearly capable of better. Please do better.

Their matcha tastes like quality although they don’t have a lot of sugar free options such as SF vanilla syrup which a lot of coffee places do. Prices are usual for matcha. The baguettes do are kind of pricey but very yummy and quality tasting you can definitely share with two people since they are ~17dlls. Overall a nice try in the OC area. Spent about 50dlls for two people.

I have a theory of judging a bakery by arriving a short time before they close. Whatever is left should live up to its height, the service should be as when the first customer came in through the door and the quality/service should not be any different when youre about to close. I have witnessed bakeries that have hype but fall short. Not this one. Arriving there, the selection was minimal but did not disappoint. Thats a good sign. Makes sense. Friendly staff too. Did not feel rushed but welcomed. Baked goods were top billing and will bring me back and try the stuff that sold out.

We went to 6100 Bread for the first time today, and wow, just wow.

They are only open TH to SU from 8am to 1pm, so you only have a short window to get yourself some fantastic baked items...all of them look SO good.

We bought their signature blue corn masa sourdough loaf, a baguette croque monsieur, croissant croque monsieur, and their tomato cheese croissant. Doooode!!! I love food, all food, and these were some of the tastiest baked good I have ever eaten. Just ridiculously delicious.

The line will be long, but the vibe is laid back, everyone is chatting about the goodies they will be buying, and you will stare with envy at everyone who completed their journey as they walk by you with their brown bag full of baked treats.

Ya gotta try this place, and if you do, you will make a weekend event as we will be doing.

Cheers!!!

Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The cronut with ube was top tier. Croissants are so flaky and buttery.

If you want to go to an American bakery where the line is two blocks long then come here, get 'em while they are hot as the goods will certainly be tasty and fresh. Sweets for the sweet. In Santa Ana, the Orange County not Los Angeles.

Long line on Saturday morning, but the bread, croissant and cronut were very good

When the local online insists you try the Ube Cronut and gets the owner to gift you one!! 🥰🫶🏻 Pastries are made w beurre d’Isigny, resulting in super buttery and flaky texture. Everything is really fantastic! The Oaxacan cheese / tomato jam croissant was my fave! The sourdough + beurre bordier (huile d’olive citronnée) are just sublime!

Such an amazing bakery tucked away on a cute little street in Santa Ana. I went Friday morning around 10am and got lucky with no line- but by the time I checked out, there was a line out the door (always a good sign).

I picked up a few items and every single one was incredible. The sourdough loaf is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. I also tried the ube cruffin and a savory pastry. I usually don’t love ube because it can be overly sweet, but this cruffin completely blew me away- perfectly balanced and not too sweet at all.

I’d give this place a solid 10/10. I’m often underwhelmed by trendy spots, but this bakery truly delivered and exceeded
expectations. Can’t wait to go back.
