Had a great meal here consisting of shrimp tacos, fish tacos, tostada de pulpo (octopus) and a couple horchatas. Food was tasty and portions generous. The Luis Miguel and Emmanuel classics pumping out of the stereo made us feel not only like we were in Mexico, but like we were back in the 90s too!

The staff is very friendly and welcoming - great customer service! I wanted to love this place because the reception was warm and kind and also because I noticed that they aren't they type to nickle and dime you like other places that charge you extra to use a credit card. The food wasn't very good. I ordered chicken taquitos with rice and beans. The chicken was dry and bland, it had a mild tomatoe based salsa. It was not hot and spicy as expected from an authentic Mexican eatery. I didn't receive any side container of salsa which would've helped the bland taquitos. I did let them know that I like hot sauce and they said the salsa on and under the taquitos was a mix of red and green salsa but it wasn't. The rice was not Mexican style. Instead it was a very undercooked rice pilaf with an unpleasant flavor and was the last thing I expected from a Mexican place. The beans tasted a bit like they were slightly burned but the cotija cheese helped cover it up a bit. The prices were reasonable but only if the food would've tasted good. I ended up throwing away the rice and beans. I would be willing to go back to give them another chance only because the service was pleasant and that is harder to find these days.

After 17 years of going to this amazing Mexican restaurant, now the restaurant owner has changed. This place was a hidden gem in Santa Ana. The food was the best: it was fresh, delicious, clean place and great price. Now it's not so good.

I was in the area and had a specific craving for camarones a la diabla. Helped a feed spots and finally decided to stop by here. No regrets in that decision. I placed an order to go since I was in a rush. Once I reached my destination and dug into the plate of camarones a la diabla, it was like instantly getting my cravings satisfied. The shrimp was nicely seasoned and it was a good amount of spicy. I wish I didn't spill the sauce on the drive but nonetheless the entree was delicious. The rice and beans were also super yummy and I'm usually picky about my rice and beans. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone on the area. They have authentic Mexican food and that's coming from someone who lives in LA and goes to Mexico pretty often.

The salsa they give when you walk in is B.O.M.B!!!!! This place is close to my house and I never get disappointed. The food is FRESH and very authentic. Definitely recommend the Fish Tacos or Torta de Milanesa!
