Applebee's Grill + Bar

Josie was our server and was so polite and pleasant to us!! Although we did have a complication with the main course with my order, they were so nice to give us one free dessert based off the order complication. I overheard other customers Josie was tending to, and it sounded so pleasant. I think all workers should be as hardworking and professional as her as she was today, despite how the customers behave. She just sounded so lovely and made the rest of my time there enjoyable.

Waited way longer than promised time. Never once was i aknowledged or notify if something occurred that caused the time to be delayed. Jayden helped at the front by the time we got a table, my toddler was already impatient

Our food took way to long for the restaurant being empty. Took to long to get water refills. The two shakes that were ordered didn't come until after our food got to our table. One of our dishes was incorrect and took to long to get back to us. The manager did apologize and comped that dish, but our table was hardly checked on. Salsa was served with our mozzarella sticks too. There are three of us who had the shrimp that didn't settle right. Our side of broccoli was the base of the broccoli very thick branch

The food was what I expected. A little disappointed with the grilled chicken on the oriental chicken salad, but Josie was absolutely amazing! She made the experience very enjoyable, I will return because of her service

Update on 1/20/25
Food I give 5 stars, but can't give 5 stars when their payment system still requests tips also on the tax.
My bill was ~40 plus tax and tip, but instead of using suggest 20% tip of $8.00, they are requesting $8.80. That means they are requesting tip also on the tax. This is not standard in any sense, in my opinion it is deceptive. Raise the price of the food, but don't be deceptive concerning the suggested tip.

Unable to give 5 stars. They can't remove the onions/chives from their white queso dip, they said it comes that way. I really do not like chives/onions. Then was not offered other suggestions. Very unhappy about wasted appetizers.

But other than that, a great deal for the chicken sandwich and bacon burger we ordered.

Horrible experience at this location, it took 30 minutes for the waiter to finally ask us for drinks, mind you the restaurant was not busy at all and they had about 6 servers that night. It took about an hour for our food to come but was told by the waiter that they messed up on my food so I had to wait another 20 min for it to come out, when my food came. I asked for my steak medium rare and when I finally got my food, my steak was very dry. I do not recommend this location at all

The food is always good there there's lots of choice. Unfortunately some of our food was not as warm as we would have liked it. And the waitress wasn't as attentive as we would have liked but I know that different visits bring different results. We still love this restaurant!

We asked if the wonton tacos could come without cilantro and the server said yes. Then they waited until they brought it out to tell us that that the cilantro was mixed in with the slaw and couldn't be taken off. They asked if we wanted to have it taken off the bill and we said yes. Then when we paid via the ziosk it still charged us for the tacos. It was a struggle to get it refunded.

My burger order came out incorrect but at this point I was so hungry I just took off the stuff that wasn't supposed to be on it. Burger was kinda bland and dry.

Chicken sandwich was good.

But we were still hungry afterwards. Really could of used that appetizer 😐

I love coming to Applebee's. I love the atmosphere and the bartenders energy. Maria Ramirez the manageris really nice and very attentive. She walks around and checks on the patrons.
