Waited in line for 10minutes for them to be out of everything we wanted. Ended up just getting a lemonade for me, and it was terrible. The only positive was that the lady was very nice. They need to mark on the menu if they are out of something. It would have saved us so much time.

We came during lunch time at 11:30 and there were only 2 employees working, so the wait was very long (30 minutes in line, another 20 minutes for food to arrive). The food is pretty healthy; we ordered the pesto sandwich and turkey sandwich, which came with a choice of fruit (apple) or small salad. The portions, however, were pretty small for a sandwich to cost $11.50. Our six-year-old finished the sandwich and was still hungry. We didn't order from the kids menu because the portions were too small, and they are foods we already make at home. I took off 2 stars because the price of the food doesn't match the portions, the long wait, and they didn't take out the trash when the trash cans were past full. Trash was scattered on the floor. I'd recommend that they hire more staff to speed up the process. I saw several people leave because of the long line here.We got the souvenir cup for $5.95 and they charged us $2.00 for the drink. We got unlimited lemonade or iced tea the whole day for free. They can even mix it up and give you lemon ice tea if you request it. Our meal of 2 sandwiches and a drink costed $33.54. Probably not coming back again.

I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich that comes with a salad. I like that the sandwich came out nice and hot. The salad already had dressing and it was good. This combo was a great deal and super healthy.

Honestly, for such basic food, they take forever to get the food out. Their workers are slow and come off as lazy. If they had competition, they’d close within a month.

That’s some odd pizza.

What a surprise. Didn't think a restaurant inside of a Children's museum would be any good, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The Chicken Pesto Chango is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The staff are friendly and stay cool even with a lot of hungry parents and kids. Well done!

My son loves astronomy. So, for the Labor Day holiday, we opted to get an annual family pass for the Discovery Cube in Santa Ana (the pass also gets you into the Cube in LA). My wife's cousin said that there was a small cafe in the Cube and that the food was good. Well after checking in, my 3 year old decided to let the whole museum know he had to go pee. So after a quick dash to the restroom (behind the cafe) we queued up and studied the menu. The offerings were limited, to be sure, but all healthy or giving the impression of healthy. There was water in a box for the environmentally conscious and no soft drinks/soda for the health conscious. For kids or adults with gluten allergies, they offer gluten free alternatives and for kids like mine, with peanut allergies, they offer sunbutter (sunflower seed butter) and jelly sandwiches. My wife and I got the turkey sandwhiches with aioli spread that came with a small arugula salad and house vinaigrette. In a word, it was surprisingly good. The hibiscus lemonade, on the other hand, was more tart with a bitter aftertaste. The strawberry banana smoothie was more like a Kern's Nectar. We didn't have a chance to order the pizza, but the kid next to us enjoyed it. It will defintely be on our rotation on the next visit. The only complaint I had, and it's because I'm such a carnivore, was for more turkey on the sandwich. I'm used to New York style deli's that pile on the meat, so that's just me. For my wife, the turkey was enough. I did taste it, but I wanted to "eat" it, if that makes sense. On occasion, my wife works at the hospital nearby and I told her with our annual passes, she can come here for a relatively healthy lunch, as long as the parking was available. She liked the sandwich so much, she said she might just do that. And on the odd weekend we come here again, we'll all do that...maybe with an extra slice of turkey, or two?

This cafe is a very convenient lunch choice if you are visiting the Discovery Cube. Their menu is a bit limited, but it is a healthy option. The sandwiches are made well and on caliber with Panera Bread sandwiches. My kids liked the pancake bites. This place can get busy around lunch time, so try to order your meal by doing an early lunch. They offer discounts to Annual Pass holders, too.

The food was freshly made and surprisingly my daughter likes it! She's so picky yet she likes it! She fell for the butterfly shape! I can tell it's a healthy dish! bit bland though for the rocket sandwich (I forgot the name) and for my pizza, it's somewhat ok! 3,5 star for me, for all the dish! 4 star since it's freshly made and it tasted healthy It's 5 star for the kind service

We came on a whim, and didn't plan for lunch. This was here, the menu looked good and it did NOT disappoint. In fact, it left us excited to try something new next time. For being a food court in what is essentially an amusement venue, they were amazingly good. We got 2 Mediterranean pizzas, a cheese pizza and a Mediterranean salad, I added chicken and avocado to the salad. It was most of all FRESH! The ingredients had great flavor and did not taste like the standard reheated food you'd normally expect. Price wasn't cheap but for the quality, totally worth it!!

Still waiting on our food, with over 10 people in the same boat. Its been over 30 mins. Sorry I tipped 20 percent now. Watching the cook move super slow while the front continues to take orders . Nomatter how great the food is, its not worth waiting so long for a simple grilled cheese. Management needs to fix this input vs output issue. Pay more for better help, or more staff. My kids are bummed. I paid to have them play in this place, not burn an hour of playtime waiting for a grilled cheese.
