Just ordered delivery from here on uber eats i was looking for thai food but found this. It was my first every time eating Vietnamese food and all i can say is wow ! The crispy chicken and rice was otherworldly. The limeade was sooo refreshing and tasty. The ban mi was great as well. I would highly recommend this food im sure its even better in person.

The food was great. I had the mushroom and tofu Vietnamese sandwich and my husband had the pho. Our baby loved the garlic noodles. The iced coffee was perfect -not too sweet. We had the best experience with the staff there and our baby. They are so sweet and attentive and checked in on us often to make sure we were all enjoying our meal, including our baby. The ambiance was perfectly peaceful. We will definitely be returning and trying out more of their menu items. This is the type of place I would love to see thrive in our neighborhood. I'll take pictures next time of their delicious food!

Delicious and thoughtfully made dishes. I had the vegetarian Asian sandwich and vegetarian spring rolls that were both refreshing and tasty. The service was also great, and our server was very knowledgeable on all the dishes. The one bad thing is I wish this place was closer to our house so I could eat here more often

We had a great experience from beginning to end. Seated immediately, it's a very spacious, quiet space, high ceiling which was nice. Felt newly renovated inside. We were told that some items might take longer so our expectations were set and it didn't really take more than 15 minutes for anything to arrive. Portions were good, everything from baguette to pho to boba drinks were delicious. There was only one guy serving all of the tables, so we didn't see him too often, but when he was there, he was attentive and helpful, good attitude. We took advantage of the lunch special which was a great deal, and would be incentive to come back. This is one of those places we would make an effort to travel to even though we live farther away. If it was closer, we would likely be here on a regular basis. We didn't get to try the desserts but they had a full case of great looking items, and looked reasonably priced. Hope to come back sometime soon.

My review is based off the spring rolls only. My first impression of the spring rolls were well they are really shiny. But then I realize they are all individually wrapped in saran wrap thank goodness I didn't take a bite. They are also on the smaller side. The vegetarian spring roll was tasty, but it was kind of a mess. But there wasn't much structure. Sometimes I got a bite of only mushrooms and lettuce and sometimes I had the noodle. It was kind of like it was thrown together. It is not my favorite vegetarian spring roll. The betel beef roll is my favorite out of the 3. Small but mighty on the flavors. The leaf wrap and flavor of the meat was a Mediterranean flavor, and reminds me of burger wrapped in a grape leaf. Kind of has that barbecue flavor. The lime cured beef roll was, different. I don't hate different, but the texture of the beef was almost rice like. The beef itself had a nice flavor. Maybe it was the raw look of the meat that got me. I liked it, but not enough to order again. These spring rolls were big on flavor, but small. The potential is there. Maybe if the lettuce was not diced up, it would have a more stable platform for the other ingredients.

Service and food are ok, nothing special. I'm really not sure why this restaurant has such a high rating... Interior decor is also nice but rather dark and dim.Our waitress was new and honestly did not know what she was doing . She was still nice but took a while to take our order correctly and almost left with only taking one of our orders. Would recommend training her a bit more before leaving her to interact with customers. We ordered the brisket pho and the shaken beef with garlic noodle substitute. The pho broth was strangely sweet and the brisket tasted a little off. The garlic noodles were not too good, tasted cheap, and came before the shaken beef dish (which is weird bc they're supposed to come together?)Overall don't recommend coming here, it was pretty empty when we came and it was our second choice due to their neighboring restaurant (Nguyen's Kitchen - I recommend their garlic noodles) being unexpectedly closed.

Undiscovered gem. Been here 4 years and I never knew. But glad I discovered it. Menu is diverse, food is very good & fresh. I always try the Vietnamese coffee every time place I go and this one is quite good, not overly sweet as some places. If ambience is your thing, this place has a very nice dining area and a very high ceiling. They also have a nice bar you can sit at too. Try it. You’ll be back.

Wow. I had the spring roll trio. Absolutely fantastic. Great balance. Amazing texture. Very complex. Very satisfying. Even the green tea (which is brown) was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

I met up with my friends here around 11:30a on a Monday. This is located at the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Sunflower Avenue. It's a small plaza with a deli (Tommy Pastrami), another Vietnamese restaurant (Nguyen's Kitchen), a Chinese restaurant (Pakwos Kitchen), and a Mediterranean restaurant (Papa K's), if I remember correctly. There's an optometrist and dentist at the corner. It's hard to tell from the outside, but the dine-in area is pretty spacious. There were only 2 people eating at a table when we arrived. We ordered the soup and sandwich combo ($11), vermicelli with grilled pork ($9.75), and vermicelli with oven roasted chicken and extra shrimp ($9.75 + $2.30). I also got their Vietnamese iced coffee ($4.00).My vermicelli with chicken and shrimp was pretty good. The shrimp was small and overcooked though. I can't eat cilantro and didn't realize that there was a salad under the vermicelli that was made up of lettuce and cilantro so I ended up not being able to eat most of it. Not the restaurant's fault. I usually order menu items without cilantro, but didn't see any in the pictures so I didn't think too much of it. My friends enjoyed their lemongrass beef as well as their soup and sandwich combo. The combo included a drink (which they also got the Vietnamese iced coffee) so it's a nice deal.Like many have mentioned, the Vietnamese iced coffee tasted like a regular mildly sweetened iced coffee. It tasted fine as is, but probably shouldn't call it Vietnamese iced coffee as it's clearly not that. They also have a dessert case so I bought some to take home - pear bread pudding ($4.00), kahlua coffee flan ($4.00), creme brûlée ($4.00), and strawberry cake ($4.50?). I got one free with a Yelp check-in! The strawberry cake was a little dry. I really liked the coffee flan and pear bread pudding. Yummy! Would love to try their pineapple upside down cake and chocolate lava cake next time.Service was nice, although the younger ones (owner's kids?) were kind of slow and kept forgetting stuff. When we left, there were two tables occupied in such a big dine-in space. Not sure why there's not a lot of foot traffic (location? seasonal? rivalry between Nguyen's Kitchen next door??), but it's a nice lunch spot.

This is a MUST go to restaurant. The service was so refreshing and the food was delicious. Their flavors are fresh and we left feeling rejuvenated and filled. Prices were amazing and make this spot a regular stop during the week.

We’re Vietnamese and this was legitimately the worst Pho I’ve had in OC. The broth didn’t taste like pho broth and was a little sweet and sour. Super cheap on the amount of meat. Noodles weren’t all the way cooked and soft. Left restaurant still hungry. Not authentic. Cooks probably aren’t Vietnamese. Terrible.

This place is adorable. Came here for lunch with my son last Saturday and was surprised we had the whole place to ourselves. Normally that would not be a good sign but I went ahead and trusted the Yelp reviews. My son ordered the mango smoothie and a grilled pork banh mi sandwich. I got the iced Vietnamese coffee and a small bowl of pho tai. Our food came out and different times (his first, then mine) and his drink arrived last so that was a little off. Server was very pleasant and attentive. It's rather large on the inside so can easily work well for larger parties. The server said their desserts are great... maybe we'll check that out next time!

Absolutely hands down one my favorite places to eat now. was in the mood for a bahn mi and saw all the amazing reviews and i'm so happy we tried it out. For starters we did the grilled pork spring roll and it was so good! We did the lunch combo with the betel leaf bahn mi and brisket pho 10/10 and it came with a drink. It was around $13 and def worth every cent!!I've never had betel leaf but i'm so happy i gave it a try because that will be my go to order. The pho was so well balanced that you don't need to add anything to it! The service is amazing, the owner is extremely kind and we talked so much about food. It makes me so happy finding great places to eat!

Our first time here and Pho & Beyond and we ordered the rocket shrimp, tamarind wings, egg rolls, and pork rolls to start. Everything was delicious! Our entrees consisted of short rib pho, oxtail pho, chicken curry, combo fried rice and it was so flavorful and tasty!Service was top notch. We would definitely come back!
