This place is small with a LOT of seating. It's a place you would pass very easily if you aren't looking for it.Ordered two birria tacos, the tortillas are handmade in front of you, with onions and cilantro. No additional concome poured over it, which I think would've help, but they were good, and the portion of meat was plenty. It was empty when I went in, but that's not a bad sign. I would go back if I was in the area but not go out of my way.

Service was great and food was delicious. Super small shop, they do have an eating area. Their menu is very short with no pricing, but if you want something specific, just ask, im sure they'll make it! I ordered a plate of birria and ate in the restaurant and it was delicious! The tortillas are hand made and soooo yummy! It was a bit pricey, but I guess you pay what you get. $19.00 for deliciousness and of course I couldn't finish the whole plate. It pretty much fed two of us as I gave the left overs to my mom for the next morning.

Hole-in -wall serving a Zacatecas, style Birra. In business 28 years, it is not your traditional Birra, made with a thicker broth. Zac. style is offered with condiments to favor & spice.

This is one of those rare hole in the wall spots that Jonathan Gold or Anthony Bourdain would have loved RIP. This place has been around since the 90's and blows away all the new Birria spots, no disrespect. The tortillas are all hand pressed by the lovely lady who runs the place and the red sauce is the most beautiful, deep crimson red I've ever seen and is uber addicting. Watch out though, it will creep up on you.

Sooooo good!!! My favorite Birrieria place! They serve with hand made hot and soft fresh tortillas!

Service from the owner is horrible. She's rude and doesn't own up her mistakes. Said no onions and they think removing them is fixing it? No! I can still taste the onions. And says if I want them to remake them, then I have to pay again. She also yells at her employees. So disturbing. The food is a little expensive but it is good. It's unfortunate I'll have to go somewhere else tho because service from the owner is that bad!

My family and I have been customers of this place for over 20 years. There is no better place in Santa Ana (or Orange County for that matter) for a good old-fashioned birria. It is cooked to perfection. I came today after a couple of years, and they have simply not lost their magic touch. The same staff from years ago making the same delicious recipe. Trust me, this is the spot!

HOLE IN THE WALL!Growing up in Southern Mexico, this place brought my memories back to my childhood.I already tried their main dishes, all of them are a win win, the Burria though, is my favorite. At least 1# of mutton ( goat) slowly cooked with a luscious an unique flavor, served with broth or dry, on this particular case I ordered with the caldo on the side, hand made tortillas, diced onions, cilantro, limes, and a fiery Japanese chili salsa.Chef Gloria Rodriguez makes sure you will come back even more often.Bon Apettite.
