We have enjoyed it in San Francisco and to be honest, the bread tastes the same. That's why we're eating here and we're love it! it has always been an incredible experience, and the product-price ratio is quite good.

Love Boudins. Everything here is delicious and fresh. The sourdough is top notch, whether you are eating with a sandwich or soup bowl, or any way. It's the best. Service is always great here whether you eat in or take out. Kudos to the staff!

This Boudin is located in the Mainplace Mall in Santa Ana, making it a very convenient location to stop by while shopping. I've had Boudin in the Bay Area before and it was amazing, but it's good to know that there are some in this area as well. I ordered the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. The soup was chunky and had a lot of clam pieces inside which I enjoyed. I thought the bread had a great texture, soft on the inside and not too hard outside. My only complaint was that the soup to bread ratio was uneven. I felt like there was way too much bread and not enough soup, which was a bit upsetting. Also, the bread turtle looked really cute, but was rock hard despite not being out for long. This made it very difficult to eat even after dipping the pieces into the soup. Overall, I would recommend this location if you're craving clam chowder bread bowls. The service is quick and the restaurant is very clean. Unfortunately, I think the bread animals are more for picture purposes, so I would most likely not order one again.

the chum bucket in real life. i went inside and the tables are either occupied or filthy. and they forgot our order. how can you be understaffed and have bad employees? pick a struggle. was discriminated because they cleaned all the tables around us except ours. an elderly man had to clean his own table because it was neglected by staff. also servers were unenthusiastic all the time. not coming back. food was okay tho. will not recomend ever.

This is a great quick service restaurant with clean healthy food and so much better than Panera Bread! I had the Cobb salad and my kids all had pizza. It was very affordable and the kids and I both loved our meals. The manager was super nice and friendly and seemed to really care about his customers. Please open locations in Washington state!!!

The food here is good, but expensive. You would think that a place that specializes in bread would not be so stingy with their croutons of all things. Paid $20 for half a sandwich + soup and they literally gave 4 (basically 3?) croutons for the entire soup bowl?

OMG! I found Boudin SF by accident at Main Place Mall. Judging by the crowd and the food's appearance, I decided to give it a try. The ambiance and vibes were very nice, with a display of all their fresh breads. The staff, from the waiter to the cashier, was incredibly friendly. Their menu is straightforward, written in large fonts, displaying prices and all possible modifications with their costs - the most detailed menu I've ever seen. Being a big soup fan, I decided to go with half sandwich and soup. I ordered 1/2 the Open-Faced Dungeness Crab Melt and clam chowder soup. Great price, and the food quality was amazing. The soup was generous in portion, exceeding my expectations, and the half sandwich was incredibly flavorful and delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and it's the best clam chowder I've ever had. I'll definitely be back to try more items from the menu. Highly, highly recommended!

I ordered a family meal that came with a full sandwich, soup with bread bowl and a cookie. The restaurant did a great job to prepare my order correctly and packaged my food correctly. This location also gives an option for customers to self order on a monitor or order from the cashier. Seating is conveniently available indoors or outdoors. The only thing that was of a concern was that the bread bowl was not fresh. We all had a difficult time to bite into the bread because it was tough as leather. I eat boudin all the time at other locations as well but their bread quality is consistently soft.
