Love it! We couldn't believe there's a legit Viet food spot here at SNA and it's Brodard!

Yes, the price is quite hefty - especially for their Banh Mi. But Soo worth it!

We ordered the Special Breakfast Banh Mi which has their famous Nem Nuong, with fried eggs. Also, a Berkshire Pork Banh Mi. Each cost $17.95 before tax.

And a Croissant with eggs - $6.95.

Everything was delicious and fresh. The eggs are freshly fried - does Not taste rubbery and sitting under some light. Meat was tender and plentiful in both Banh Mi. The bread itself was perfectly warm, soft, chewy and crispy - not the type of crispy that scratches all the inside of your mouth.

We loved everything! This spot will be a factor in us choosing to fly out of SNA in the future!

It is not fair. …To have such a real-ingredient, real-food (Vietnamese) restaurant IN A US AIRPORT, and have it sit right next to all the neighboring synthetic “meal-product” peddlers: OC pizza, Qdoba, and some other joints my subconsciousness has already purged from memory to make sure I do not get relapse.

I ordered a chicken rice vermicelli bowl: I can identify and taste all the parts: vermicelli noodle, pulled chicken, nuts, fried shallots, fish sauce, mint leaves, oh this is heaven in an airport. And I pay under $20 (it’s an airport remember). Sorry no photos, it was so good it was instantly absorbed into my digestive ecosystem.

I looked at the garbage at neighboring restaurants - same prices for comparable sized meal, altho wasn’t sure if I had to pay $18 to acquire the product, or if that was the price to keep it away from my GI system.

You can also note the difference in ratings of this place vs the neighboring spots: Apparently, humans can distinguish between actual food vs processed recycled quasi-organic matter. An affirmation that there may be intelligent life on earth.

This is an affirmation there is a decent Vietnamese spot at SNA. Good luck people, be well.

My ham and cheese inside my croissant was cold. Before purchasing, I asked the cashier and another worker if the sandwich was a hot sandwich, they both said yes. They both lied to me.The croissant was only warm.

I was excited to see Brodard at SNA, so I had to stop by and grab some items. The food was good and consistent with what I expected. A bit pricey due to being at the airport.

* Grilled Pork Spring Rolls (Nem Nuong) 5/5 - My favorite item to get. It's grilled pork pate and vegetables wrapped in rice paper. The sweet and savory dipping sauce was a treat.

* Ribeye Springs Rolls (Thit Bo Cuon) 4/5 - Ribeye meat and vegetables wrapped in rice paper with cilantro dipping sauce. This was good, but I still prefer the Grilled Pork rolls more.

* Vermicelli Noodles with Pork (Bun Thit Nuong) 5/5 - This was better than I expected. Soft vermicelli noodles with grilled pork pieces, vegetables, and chili fish sauce. Good amount of food and filling.

Prob the best airport meal I’ve had. Hidden gem with vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, bahn mi, Vietnamese coffee and baked goods and macarons.

Best airport food I’ve ever had in America! Was surprised to see a Vietnamese restaurant at an airport, and was even more surprised when I had the Vermicelli noodles with Pork, that it was very delicious and similar to what I had in Vietnam. This restaurant has also made John Wayne one of my favorite airports. Would highly recommend!

I had the chicken Banh Mi without mayonnaise, and it was good but not great. I don’t recall having a Banh Mi with as much sautéed onion as this one.

I might have it again, but next time I’ll try a vermicelli bowl instead.

Their black iced coffee is very good and strong.

Service is very nice but not especially fast.

The Bahn Mi and nem nuong were amazing. I ordered pork Bahn Mi, though and they gave me chicken. I was too hungry to wait for a remake, that's why I'm dinging them on service and giving 4 stars overall. My wife got the chicken vermicelli and said it was excellent. Possibly the best macaron (fruity pebbles flavored!) I've ever eaten. The baked goods all looked amazing

Portions were great and the food was excellent.

4.5 for the banh mi, surprised to have such good banh mi at the airport. Could do with a little more sauce/pate to make it a 5/5. A little expensive though, we paid $19 all in for one banh mi.

My husband and I both got food poisoning after eating their sandwich.

I've had the Veggie Delight Bahn Mi (tofu) here on two different occasions and both were outstanding. I took it on the plane for my lunch. Very generous sandwich with great flavors. As you might expect the baguette is a little chewy. I also had the raisin croissant and it was very good, not too sweet.
