Going to provide a review of this CPK even though they will be going out of business next week. The staff deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication and exceptional customer service as well as quality food. I decided to venture out of my pizza comfort zone and decided to have the Kung Pao spaghetti and I had no regrets about the choice. The dish was very flavorful and filling as well as aestheticallt pleasing. What I appreciated most is that the spicier non edible peppers were all at the top of the dish and easy for meto pick out so I didn't accidentally ingest them. Others in my party had the traditional pizzas and there were no complaints. With many restaurants right before they close things are very bare bones and there are a lot of items not in the menu and it feels short staffed because employees are brushing off their resumes but I had no such an experience with this place. Although I cannot recommend this restaurant because it is closing down, I HIGHLY recommend the staff and any restaurant or other CPK chain would be fortunate to have these highly capable individuals working for them!

The worst dine in experience we have ever had. To start, we showed up got seated and did not see our server for 25 minutes. I got up and asked the hostess if we had a server, she said she would go grab him. Finally he shows up to our table and acts like nothing happened. We order our drinks and another 20 minutes passes, no sign of our server. So I get up and walk around the restaurant and look for him. At this point we are 40 minutes into our dine in experience, no drinks, no orders taken, we were in for a long night. He finally arrives and forgets 2 of the drinks. We ask if we can order and he said he would be right back, he was correct 10 minutes later he arrives back at our table to give us the two drinks he forgot. We finally get the opportunity to order, everything seemed to be fine. Our food took about 30 minutes to prepare, in that time we never saw our server, I had to go up to the bar to ask for refills for our table. At this point I was extremely frustrated. Now let me fast forward. Our food arrives via a food runner and everything is fine. At this point we have been at the restaurant for 2 hours. The rest of my party leaves because they are tired of sitting in the restaurant. I sat waiting for the check, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes... finally our server appeared from the darkness. I ask for my bill, he brings it back I immediately check the bull everything looks good, I give him my card and wait. He brings backs the bill and it is not mine it is a $280 bill from a large party a few tables down. But he ran my card for that tables bill. He takes it back and I ask to see a manager. He finally brings back the bull but the problem just got bigger. The card he gave me is an American Express like I gm gave him... but not with my name on it. He gave my card back to the large party. He stood there dumbfounded, as if his brain stopped working. I saw the man of that party leave a minute earlier so I got up and walked after him. Asked him to check his card and my card was in his wallet. We swapped cards, I went back to the restaurant and the manager was waiting. She told me I needed to pay my $250+ bill and I informed her that was not my bill. It was a total fiasco. She said she would take care of the situation. 10 minutes later she comes back with my original bill. No discount, nothing. I said this has been a terrible experience are you going to discount the bill, she said I can't, we are understaffed... just don't pay tip. Understaffed? What does that have to do with my experience? My mind was blown. She thought I would leave a tip after this experience?.... I paid the bill, left and plan to never return.

If the owners of CPK read this reviews - they need to know that the Hostess at CPK in Fashion Island is on a power trip and makes your customers wait to be seated for 10 to 20 minutes even thou the restaurant is half empty. Bottom line - bad for business. She probably doesn't care but from a business owner perspective, you don't want to have your customers wait 15 to 20 min to be seated when the restaurant has plenty of empty tables.

Grab some pizza here today , The Barbecue chicken Pizza which is one of my favs. The Thai Chicken pizza is good too, But a bit too spicey for me. I dont like any spices on my pizza. Pizza was fresh, and not heavy or dried out. Staff are friendly here. Im happy.

CAUTION! Eat here at your own risk. These guys have a COCKROACH INFESTATION! We ordered a pizza for my daughter, after eating 2 slices, she lifted the 3rd slice and there was a COCKROACH UNDERNEATH. These guys were immediately alerted to this health concern and issue, and THEY REMAINED OPEN! This is extremely dirty, and a health risk. They don't take the health of their customers and employees seriously.

My family and I went in to CPK for lunch yesterday and were glad we chose this venue. The food, service and ambience were excellent. Will be back when in the area.

My parents ordered the shrimp scampi Fettuccine mixed with zucchini noodles. The noodles were a bit stiff in the center but didn't complain. They were trying to salvage the dish and started to eat around the noodles. Our server came to check on us and asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything. I looked over at my mother who had a look o her face and I could see that she wasn't eating the noodles so I told the waitress the noodles were too uncooked. Not sure if it's suppose to be that way but I like al dente noodles and I thought it was a bit stiff in the center. She kindly offered to remake the dish or we could order something else. The parents wanted their dish and as they patiently waited someone I assumed was the manager came over and asked if it was just the noodles or the zucchini as well. I responded that it was just the noodles and everything else was great. When the dish came out, it was a bowl of just noodles. Did they want us to pick out the old noodles and add the new ones? I don't understand... really? Never been treated this way before not even at lower standard restaurants. our server was sweet she offered to pack it up for us and I politely decline stating the whole situation was ridiculous. She offered to take it off the bill and after speaking to the "manager" they took it off. I left a 20% tip based off what I would have paid because she was great... management not so sure how she got that position. Terrible! Worst part is even though I shared my dish with them, my parents left hungry. I just can't believe I had this experience

I just moved to NB from LA and used to go to CPK Pasadena all the time. I ordered takeout in NB and my pizza was cold and soggy. This would never happen in Pasadena. Also the artichoke salad was wilty and unappetizing. This is THE WORST CPK I've ever been to. Who in their right mind would serve a soggy, cold pizza when you're called CPK??? Unacceptable!
