Lovely experience at this California Pizza Kitchen. Set your expectations because it’s not a full menu location and you’ll have a good meal. The seating is limited with more 2 person tops than 4. The bar seating is acceptable.Don’t expect your food to come out lightning fast because it is fresh made.Wilma, my server was charming, and attentive. She even wrapped up my leftover pizza for my flight. The mushroom and spinach pizza was as good as a full menu location.I’ll be back.

EXTREMELY rude waitress humiliated me in front of the entire airport… do some research on laws before you try to enforce them yourself as a server. Unacceptable. Under no circumstances do you YELL at a customer.

This California Pizza Kitchen was located in the John Wayne Airport in California. We ordered from the breakfast menu. The food tasted like it was warmed in the microwave. Convenient no touch ordering and

They own one of the few lounge areas with proper sitting in terminal A and don’t allow people who are ordering takeout or buy from the neighbouring cafe to sit over there. They ask people who are sitting to leave, even though the space is empty. Disrespectful!

I have had a couple of meals inside airports, this one stands out. I had a three hour layover in Santa Ana, figured I would sit down and get something decent. I choose poorly. $16 for a "grilled chicken sandwich". They ask that you order from the QR code on the table. I looked at the menu, but the waitress came by to ask what I wanted. The grilled chicken sandwich was listed. I couldn't see what was on the television screen menu, above the bar, I could only see what popped up on my phone. It said it was a grilled chicken sandwich with mayo, avocado , lettuce and tomato. It didn't say what it came with. I asked for no mayo, I was brought silverware, napkins and grey pupon. Nice. I like mustard. What I got, for $16 was cold chicken chunks that have never seen a grill. Cold bread. Undesceipt. Lettuce, avocado, and tomato. It reminded me of a gas station sandwich. You would think a grilled chicken sandwich at a sit down situation, would be warm. Here, you would be wrong. It was like frozen pre cooked chicken chunks. And lays potato chips.I should have gone to one of the fresh markets in the airport and received the same quality at at smaller price. Seriously, reminded me of a gas station. Frankly, I have had better meals at gas stations as we do them pretty well in Texas. The pizzas here looked cooked, but other than that, avoid. My sandwich here was shameful. I have no idea what California Pizza kitchen has to do with this establishment, but it should reevaluate.

If you order to go you have to immediately leave the restaurant. You can’t sit down to wait. You can’t even sit in the entirely empty area across the way you have to stand behind the wall where other people are walking. The lady was extremely rude. I have a question for the owners: if I want a pizza to go and my boyfriend wants a pizza dine in do we have to dine on opposite sides of the fence? 0/10 experience

This morning I only had coffee, although the wait was less than across the hall at the coffee bean it seemed to take a very long time. Not sure if it was the service or the system they are using. Scan the we code and enter your order. You can pay and tip right from your phone. Maybe it seemed so long of a wait for a cup of coffee since the system takes a bit to print out the order. It's an airport so things can be up one day and down another based on how busy they are. They have a full bar, grab and go salads, sandwiches and cold drinks including beer.

I asked my server for some water and she told me to go get it myself… then 10 minutes later she brings 3 glasses of water for the family sitting beside

I imagine there food might be fine, but I'll never know. I sat down to drink coffee in John Wayne airport one early morning recently and was told by a California Pizza Kitchen employee I couldn't sit there because it was their tables and chairs (some sort of lease). I wouldn't have been so angry if it weren't for the fact there were about 75 seats, and a total of four were occupied (one by me). So that was my warm welcome to Orange County....Needless to say my family and I will never, ever step foot in any California Pizza Kitchen.

4 stars because of Lily! I always enjoy Her wonderful service & smile & demeanor. CPK needs to do what they can to keep an employee like this! Otherwise I'm going to slip my business card to here.....Sna-Atl 645a

Not sure how hard it is to just make scrambled eggs but I had the WORST eggs on earth here! The food quality is even bad by airport standards which are always pretty low...My guess is McDonalds would be better and that's a LOW bar...

Just had the chicken tortilla soup. Overpriced, bad tasting, and no chicken in it. And if there was 1 or 2 pieces I didn’t even notice. I guess you don’t have to care about quality if you’re in an airport with limited competition. Anyway, I won’t go back here again.I didn’t have any, but the cold sandwiches looked very sad too.
