Worst experience at a CJs yet. Drive thru, 3pm on a Sunday so not rush-time. Ordered a santa fe chicken and a bbq chicken. We did not ask for any alterations. Neither was a special discount price. At the pick up window, the young lady offered us some sort of sauce but we didn't understand what she said and declined because neither sandwich comes with a separate sauce any other time we have purchased them. Both were served on grilled sourdough bread instead of a bun. (What?) Chicken chewed like rubber so we opened them up. 1 side of grilled chicken was raw and the other side burnt. So disappointing.

They always serve me with kindness and respect, and when I'm ordering and ask them to remove some ingredients from my burger, they always do it correctly. Excellent service, and it's my favorite Carl's Jr.

Stopped by this Carl’s Jr. on a Sunday around 12:00 just to fill up my refillable water bottle 💧 since I was heading to the gym next door 🏋️♂️. No one was inside the restaurant, and only one truck was in the drive-thru 🚗. I wasn’t bothering anyone—just grabbing some water.
As I was filling up, a little ice and water overflowed slightly and fell right into the drain under the water area—nothing even hit the floor. I didn’t make a mess, didn’t spill everywhere, yet this lady rushed out with a towel like there was some kind of emergency 🚨. She stared me down, acting like I was doing something wrong 😳.
What did she think I was doing? Stealing ice?? 🙄 I honestly felt judged—like maybe she thought I looked homeless or suspicious for just using the water machine. It was ridiculous and way over the top.
If she needs something to do, there’s probably work to be done in the back. Don’t come out policing someone just trying to stay hydrated. 😤
I wouldn’t eat here even if the food was free 🍟🚫. That kind of treatment? No thanks. 👎

We live almost equidistant between two Carl’s Jr locations, but we almost always go to this location on 17th Street in Santa Ana because of the spectacular service! Specifically, Itzchel (Shelley), who’s almost always manning the window when we go there for dinner at least twice a week — she is a real asset to the company! Her happy smile and great service puts a smile on my face too!
We’re retired seniors, on the dreaded “fixed income”, and the coupons keep us returning week after week, in addition to Shelley’s kind and helpful attitude. Cooking is a real pain now that there are just the two of us; and the coupons make it affordable to eat out.

I requested certain things inside my order and that morning manager totally just wanted me to leave the drive-thru and I had to look in my bag to check the items and she totally wasn't having it It was just condiments and she was so cheap on how she set up my bag and what she's just put the most smallest limited condiments and she didn't even pay attention. She was rude and just very short and deliberate worst experience ever. Here you are getting paid more than $20 an hour and you're still having the same attitude probably as how you are serving other people and with probably with how you deal with your life so take a step back it's not about you it's about how you serve your customer so learn from your experience and stop being so cheap and serve your customer really I'm here spending at least more than 20 bucks at your restaurant or fast food restaurant So learn from your experience.....

This is for the night crew only !! They lied over the phone when I called back. I ordered a famous star no cheese to go and got a big Carl with cheese !! I took it back in and got home thinking it was OK. NO IT IS NOT ! ITS A BIG CARL NO TOMATOES NO PICKLES !! I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THAT CARLS AT NIGHT AGAIN !! PLUS I GAVE THE ORDER TWICE !! FAM STAR NO CHEESE ! OMG ITS NOT HARD. THEY NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL ! LEARN SOMETHING BESIDES LIEING !!
