The food was good. The service was excellent. The interior was too dark for our taste and the music had a club vibe, which was kind of odd. If we were in the area we might go back.

The restaurant was great. The waiter was attentive but not pushy. The food was not my kind of food, but I was able to find something to eat and it was delicious. Being Wednesday night, they had music. The group was good but we could not see them. There is a tv screen showing sports, that could have been set up to show the band. However overall it was a super fun experience and I would definately go back.

It should be noted that this is a Sports Bar! Extremely noisy!!! The burger was mushy, let's just say, I've had a lot better.

We had a blast. We were so well taken care of. Good and cocktails were great. We will for sure return.

Was at this restaurant for an hour and a half before we got food. Had to ask 2 times before we got soft drinks we ordered. The mixed drinks arrived first. Half of the food did not come out together. Waitress was hard to find. Complained and no manager talked to us. Disappointed

My friends and I used to be regulars here, so we were excited to come back a few weeks ago on a Friday evening around 6–7pm. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but our server never introduced himself. We were disappointed to see some of our staple favorites off the menu (like the shrimp taquitos and vanilla soufflé), and even more let down when our food took a long time to arrive. When it finally did, my fries were cold, and our server never checked in on us again after dropping off the plates.

Sadly, as much as we’ve loved this place in the past, this experience makes it unlikely that we’ll return.

A group of gals got together for an event to decorate pumpkins with succulents that was led by @giftsthatdontsucc. We drank Sangria and had a blast. Went home with a gorgeous decorated pumpkin and a fun memory, too.

Chapter One is my favorite restaurant in Santa Ana. The service is always great and the food/drinks are top notch. Awesome happy hour specials too during the week.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life. We made a confirmed reservation at 8:30 for 6. Got there and they seemed surprised that we had one seeing that the place was packed for the Dodgers game. Got seated in a tiny corner of the restaurant where we didn’t really fit and was neglected by the first server. She gave us attitude about seeing if we could move across the way after we asked nicely. Once we finally got someone else to help us (thank goodness for her), the small plates we received were filthy. Sauce and food stains still stuck on them we had to send it back. I should report them to the health department. The food finally came and we didn’t get any silverware. Another wait for that before eating. The Caesar salad was awful. The croutons were soggy, the lettuce was wilted and the steak salad I ordered medium rare came out rare almost blue and it was cold I had to send it back. This place is disgusting in terms of service, food, and atmosphere. If you want a great experience at a restaurant go somewhere else. I’m shocked this place has any business at all.

Great and delicious menu, and with a very lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was a very busy night with both the baseball world series playing as well as local monthly street event. So tonight was very overcrowded and much louder than usual. We had made reservations for 7:45 pm and arrived five minutes early. With it so crowded, the hostess had to offer the bar till something could open, apologizing for the chaos with the crowd intruding with the reservations. We were seated at 8:15 pm as ownership & management could be seeing stepping in to assist where they could, and opened additional space to accomadate the extra busy night. They managed things as best they could and attended to the unusual nighThe menu was truly exceptional, offering a delightful range of delicious options, all set in a vibrant and lively atmosphere. However, our experience was somewhat overshadowed by the overwhelming crowd, as both the World Series baseball game and a local monthly street event drew in a massive number of patrons. We had made reservations for 7:45 PM and arrived five minutes early, eager to enjoy the evening. Given the sheer volume of people, the hostess kindly offered us a spot at the bar until our table was ready. She sincerely apologized for the disruption the crowd had caused to the reservation process. Despite the noise and chaos, we were seated at 8:15 PM. It was commendable to see the ownership and management stepping in to manage the situation effectively. They opened up additional seating to accommodate the influx of guests and worked diligently to ensure a positive experience for everyone. Their commitment to handling this unusually hectic night was impressive, and they made every effort to attend to the needs of their customers, transforming a challenging situation into a memorable evening.t.

Chapter One: The Modern Local is an upscale dining spot that blends contemporary cuisine with local ingredients. The menu is creative, featuring seasonal dishes that are beautifully presented. Service is attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the fine-dining experience. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, making it suitable for both special occasions and casual upscale meals. Prices are on the higher side, reflecting the quality and presentation of the food.

I would give it 5 stars because of Tahari . But the new manager came up at us in a very hostile manner when trying to use the restroom. We felt uncomfortable but Tahari worked it out for us. Because of him we had a great time afterall.

Tahari was our waiter he made us aware of the seasonal Manhattan, answered all of our questions. food was amazing (try bacon wrap meatloaf) all creations available of the most, options for everyone. I see it in my Sharable accessible size proportions. We arrived on a Wednesday says at 5:30 and we're able to finish our meal before the music started so you have the best of both worlds, chatting it up a bit and enjoying entertainment al
