Do yourselves a favor and close down Santa Ana. I know the location has been struggling to get people in but it’s just sad. I just went in because rarely the place was open when it’s normally closed at this time and I was excited to have a Diablo burger, which I normally love, but tonight it was the most disappointing experience I’ve had in a long time. The burger was dry and overcooked, the buns were cold and bland, the veggies just pulled out of the fridge and I had to pay $28 for a horrible burger which I couldn’t eat and a flat beer that you can tell is running through filthy hoses. Please just shut the location down, it’s just embarrassing at this point.

Came here with my eleven year old who saw they served wings. She normally enjoys wings, but stated, “I’ve never had food that made me sad.” Then she said, “bite right here and you’ll see how bland these are. They’re dry and rubbery but wet on the outside. They’re terrible dad.” All I could think was, “at least she didn’t try these terrible fish tacos.” Omg, this place is terrible. It was empty on a Saturday night during night market. The music was some terrible LOUD dance music. Everyone stay away, and hope the next place they put in has something of quality to offer.

Downtown has been a mess for a while so we haven't been there in a while. We stopped there on week ago and service, food and drinks were awesome. Came in on Tuesday and if anyone remembers Twilight Zone I thought we were in the middle of an episode. Service was nonexistent, wrong items brought to table and charged for things we did not order and whoever was preparing food had no experience in cooking or something

After waiting over an hour, this is what was served to my mom. Seriously? Drinks took some time, too. The only bright spot was spending time with family. Would not recommend this place.

I've been meaning to post a review of this establishment for some time now because my experience there was so negative. We went middle of week for lunch with other coworkers and had a terrible experience. It took about 45 minutes for the first dish to arrive, and well over an hour for the last of our party of five to eat. When the food eventually arrived, it was inconsistent and underwhelming. For instance, a coworker and I both ordered burgers, but while ours arrived at the same time, mine had one huge patty and his had four small slider patties since they had apparently run out of regular sized patties. It appears that the chef is working with only one burner and can only prepare one type of plate at a time. the waiter kept apologizing, so no fault on her or the chef, but this is not a place i will ever return for food.

It's a nice place with a decent beer selection including some in house brews. Menu is a couple of notches above standard bar food and overall pretty good. Service is hit or miss. The beer list is on a QR code, but it's in a cellular dead zone and their WiFi sucks, so you just have to go ask them what they have. Overall a place in happy to visit when I'm in DTSA.

Maybe luck, but whoever was in the kitchen loved and knew how to cook! 10-29-23. 2
Came here the other day for my going away and it was probably the worst service I've gotten. They seemed to be understaffed with only one waitress and we we're understanding that she could only do so much. It was a group of 10 and we all ordered a dish and nachos for the table. Dishes came out one by one for about 2 hrs. Two of my coworkers had to cancel their order and the nachos because we had to go back to the office. One of the canceled orders was a salad and most of us had ordered burgers. All the burger came with normal patties but mine came with what I'm guessing is their slider patties. The other canceled order was veggie tacos. They didn't have many of the vegan options from the menu. The coworker who eats vegan had to change options twice and then after about an hour they came out to say they didn't have what he asked for and needed to change it again. All in all it was pretty terrible but Jen did her best and we do appreciate that.

We arrived at Congregation for the first time, eager to give it a try after our disappointing experience at the neighboring establishment. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile that instantly made us feel valued as customers. I opted for a refreshing michelada, while my companion decided to go with a Pacifico. Unfortunately, we couldn't sample any of their draft beers, as our server regretfully informed us that their draft system was temporarily out of service for maintenance. Undeterred, we proceeded to order the loaded tots, which were delightfully spicy with jalapeños that packed quite a punch. Additionally, we indulged in the sliders and battered fish tacos, both of which were generously portioned and bursting with flavor. Overall, the ambiance of the place was pleasant, creating an inviting atmosphere for our dining experience.

Celebrated my heath and wellness for losing 65lbs. Stopped off at Congregation Ale House for lunch and a cold brew! The staff were amazing! Played all my favorite Shakira songs! I ordered the Basic Cheese Burger, and it was prepared just the way I asked. I walked out very satisfied! A+++++++++++
