Went to Craig's for a quick wrap as it was raining heavily outside. Found half of a toothpick in my wrap while I was chewing it. This place has a serious quality control problem. Will not be coming back.

The food here is great, it's not over saturated, and sodium infused fast food, just plain and simple, leaving you with a nice settled stomach. It's pretty popular too, given the fact that there's a line out into the hallway every day at lunchtime. It's very convenient and probably the highlight of my jury duty. I guess there were some food items, that could possibly upset your stomach if you weren't used to them, but if you are smart with your choices, then you'll always walk away satisfied. A lot of reviewers whine about the service, but it was very pleasant from my experience and I was there every day for a week. I saw many lawyers and officers who, I would assume were regulars, making friendly small talk with them, and enjoying the food. Another reviewer mentioned being in a "fowl mood" because of jury duty. I find that funny and sad that people expect a fair justice system but are too selfish to contribute one or two days and would rather cheat and lie their way out of it.

No this is not a safe place to eat cooked food. I was on Jury Duty and ordered a hamburger. There was no line or crowd in the cafeteria at the time. 7 full minutes later (I checked my ticket) the grill was still empty with nothing cooking on it (you can see the grill). The counter person asked about my burger and the chef shook his head yes to her. I noticed he was chewing food with his mouth open as he tossed a precooked hamburger on the grill. It was not appetizing. Then came a couple buns on the grill that also looked dubious. He was still chewing his food. I told the counter help to cancel my burger and bring me the manager. The manager took his time. I could see him chatting on the phone. Then he came out and grabbed a drink from inventory and returned back to the kitchen. When he finally came out and I told him everything, he denied all of it. Really? How can he take action in denial? The Orange County Board of Supervisors need to pull this cafes lease. They serve thousand of people a day with no competition in the building. Their kitchen is a wreck. Their prices are not even fair. But seriously folks, speak up when you see such shenanigans because they are dragging down our culture and proving that lazy sloppy chefs can mistreat customers in 2019

This is a standard issue court house cafeteria, hot and cold options, gum, mints, soda, coffee. All of which is palatable. The seating area is very good if you need to work on a laptop.

This review is solely for the chocolate chip cookies. I ate these cookies at least twice per week from June 2017 to May 2018. haha. I was addicted to them for some time. They are the BOMB! My stomach growls A LOT when she's empty. So I usually eat these cookies before I go into courtroom. I am good for two to three hours then.

so serving my first jury duty I decided for lunch that I didn't want to take the long long walk back to my car for food so I settled with the cafeteria right outside the jury waiting room. they have 3 lines: togo quick purchases, hot sandwiches and soups, and grilled + entrees. grilled and entrees lines is the longest and when I got to the line to order there are seemingly great options to choose from so I went with the chicken panini pesto sandwich. sigh... one of the better looking options here but wow was there no flavor. I think this place give great portion sizes as the panini was great size and filling ish but no flavor, barely could taste the pesto flavor, chicken seemed cool multiple times and no flavor... I did like the bread the best. this came out to $6.78 with tax. and unfortunately they gave the person behind me their panini first (same order as me) because they lost my ticket but they quickly made up for it so I'm not mad. basically what I'm saying it bring your own food to court but this place if you need to buy food has lots of options but don't expect anything spectacular.

Unfortunately in my career, I've had to eat at various places like this one. Serving an extremely high volume of people in a short amount of time. I truly believe this place does the job as best as they could given the restraints of the space and location. Let's be blunt, the food actually doesn't suck. In fact, their French Dip sandwich, my go to, is pretty good. They give you a good amount of beef, more than most places. They'll also serve a sandwich with hot oven baked turkey (not an open face Hot Turkey Sandwich) which was really good. Friday's is the best day for them as most courts don't have session so they'll not as crazy. They have excellent breakfast. They aren't cheap, but I think the portions make up for the higher price. They also have gum, mints, and a few medications for those in for a long day at court. To finish up, the people who work there are super nice and honestly do the best they can. Good job.

imho, they are pretty sneaky. I ordered a Mushroom Bacon Swiss burger for $5.09+taxes and said no to french fries when the guy asked me about it. When I got my order a few minutes later, it got a tiny portion of cold and stale french fries. So, I thought it might just come with the burger. When I paid to the cashier, she said $5.48 (the same amount on my receipt when I ordered my burger from the counter). I told the cashier that I wanted the receipt when she asked. Later on that afternoon, when I looked at my receipt, I got charged $2.49 for the fries. A couple bucks is not a big deal because I think it's just some kind of miscommunication. However, when I think back, I believed that the cafe did it intentionally to try to cheat the customers. Most of their customers are those one-day juror and no one really cares much to be ripped-off for a few bucks. But it seemed to be a very dishonest business practice. Here are the reasons: 1) The cashier charged to my credit card higher than the receipt that I received from the burger counter. 2) I don't understand why the cashier kept asking the every customer wanted their receipt or not. Should that be a general practice to give the receipt to all customers? Unless you got something to hide. 3) The cashier seemed intentionally put the burger counter receipt ($5.09) on the top of credit card receipt ($5.48) to conceal her action.

If you have any other option; don't go. I don't like the minimum $4 to use credit and their smoking patio is uncomfortably close to the food.

Craig's cafeteria is located on the third floor of the central courthouse. The breakfast sandwich is really oily. You can pick your meat. I got the sausage. Food is not bad for what it is. the best thing about this place is the variety and convenience. I'm glad it's here and I can get some hot food on the go.

This place is opened for breakfast (served until 10:30) to lunch (served until 3:00) on the 3rd floor of the Central Justice Center, next to the Jury Room. Avoid this place from 11:30-1:00 during the lunch rush. I recently got assigned here and on my first day tried the French Dip sandwich. The roast beef is hand carved and the bread dipped in au jus. Aside from the optional pickle, no sides. Fries ($2.99) and chips are extra. So I ordered the sandwich with a coke, and it set me back over $8, even with my paltry court employee discount. It wasn't the best French dip I've had, but then again I have had much worse elsewhere. The place is convenient, and if you don't want to move your car or lose your parking space, the cafeteria is there for that purpose. Later during the week, I had the breakfast burrito for $5. I had the bacon burrito with the home spuds (with onions and peppers) and quite honestly it wasn't bad. They were quite generous with the meat, and the salsa they gave me was tasty, too. I would get that again! Again not the best food in town nor the cheapest. But if you're stuck at Central Court, this is a good option.

considering it's your only choice, it's a solid 4. I was expecting crap breakfast but the Works Burrito was surprisingly delicious. the sausage packed a lot of flavor! there's also plenty of caffeine options here.

Nothing special, but everything you might need if you are in this building as a juror, lawyer, judge or heck defendant! Multiple choices of fresh coffee or from a machine, all kinds of drinks and all kinds of food you might need. I got a turkey wrap that was very light and a trail mix bag, great for when you don't know for how long you'll be stuck in a court room and you can't have bathroom breaks. They have freshly cooked food too, but that looked like it's gonna sink heavily and put me to sleep! Not cheap, but there is no alternative here, since you can't walk out any time you want, so take maximum advantage of it.

Overpriced crappy food. Coffee machine is water down. I had a stomach pain immediately after consuming food here. I've done jury duty before and I didn't expect to be here all day since the last time we were done before noon so I was desperate to grab a salad since the line for hot sandwiches is a mile long. The staff are all having a bad day, can't even smile! I don't think this place gets cleaned at all, really gross!
