It's your standard Latin American bakery, with all the treats you need. No seating, but you can take your bread to your car and eat I suppose. Lol

I haven't had anything old tasting or gross, so they are on top of keeping their bread stock filled and fresh.

My one complaint would be that they need better labeling on their breads. Would be helpful not to guess at what I'm picking. Also, it would help to know what the breads I am picking up are called.

Overall good eats, please label your breads.

El Metate Panadería is a charming local bakery with a welcoming vibe and friendly staff. While most of the staff speak little English, they’re kind, patient, and eager to help with a smile. The display is full of delicious Mexican pastries, all freshly made and smelling amazing. From conchas to empanadas, everything looks and tastes homemade. The quality of the baked goods is impressive, especially for the low prices. It’s a great spot to grab a quick treat or a box to share. The place has a no-frills, authentic feel that adds to its charm. Don’t expect fancy service, but expect to leave satisfied. It’s a hidden gem for anyone who loves traditional pan dulce. Highly recommended for a casual and tasty bakery stop.

I’m not sure if they changed bakers but last two times I went there’s not a lot to choose from and the bread is not good at all

Nothing like Asian before, first the drunks came out salty and now hair on their shells inside, disgusting
