We as a group (9 people) used to go there because one of the workers was nice to us. Manager Maribel is very rude. One day one of the ladies of my group asked her if she could roll down the curtain, because the reflection of the sun was on our face, she did not wanted, I went to rolled down and as soon as she could went and roiled up. I told her the situation and she told me that one of the rules was to have it up. I asked at other Pollo locations and they told me that she was laying, that she just was being rude. We do not come back to El Pollo Loco Bristol and Central in Santa Ana anymore. We miss our friend there, but manager Maribel is rude. Plus tables were dirty most of the time.

Love this restaurant, my dad comes here frequently they know who he is and they get his order prepared immediately and just how he likes it’s it. They treat him with great respect, he’s 97, Can’t say enough about this locale but I give it two thumbs up

By far the worst location. Every time I come here there is an issue. Dry, old chicken . Old lettuce. Drinks filled very low from drive thru. Rude workers. It’s almost as if they don’t throw out very old food, they still serve it to you to save money. Ridiculous and gross I’m not coming back here anymore. Unless they hire people who actually care about what there serving you.

Food, service and cleanliness are much poorer than it used to. No customer service with computer ordering, staff just ignores you. The floor was sticky and seemed like it hadn't been mopped in days, table wasn't clean either. Wouldn't recommend.

Today, 8-7-2025 I had lunch at El Pollo Loco on Bristol in SA. My experience was so disappointing on every level. I haven't been to a Pollo Loco in more than a year ago and I was very excited to eat there. So now they have the screens for people to order digitally and it was painful to see people not understand the new ordering process, and to see the employee just shout out instructions and walk away, and letting people that don't understand the system to try to order. Then when finally it was my turn to order, I ordered a Cobb Salad with avocado. When I got the salad, the lettuce was soggy and the avocado was so hard that I broke the plastic fork trying to cut it. So, I only took a few bites and I just didn't like it. So I decided to not eat the salad and instead try a quesadilla. I went to get in line again, and again it was painful to see people trying to order by themselves on the computer screen with no help from the staff. There were several people ahead of me and the line was just not moving because people didn't understand how to order. I finally just decided to leave. I left hungry and very frustrated at the whole experience. It's too bad because I have always loved El Pollo Loco. I think the worst part is that they replaced cashiers with these machines to order. They don't care that most people, especially seniors, don't understand how to order. I understood how to order but it pained me to see people struggle, and to see that the employees don't care. I will not be going back!

7-22-25 I love Pollo Loco, but on this date I got 2 crunchy tacos and they were completely burned. I was so disappointed, iit never happened before, I hope this is an isolated case.

Today it’s may 21 -25 this is one of my favorite places but today I get the chicken very dry I know chik Brest is dry but toda I don’t know and the caslow salad was no flavor at all was very dry if you want tips for this let me know I still be your costumer this is my advice
