We were in Santa Ana on business, and stopped at Fresh off the Boat Fish Grill the first night for dinner. We went back every night that week for dinner. 4 days we got takeout salads with a couple appetizers. Very reasonably priced and decently sized portions. We tried Greek salad, gyro salad, and filet salad, as well as pita with garlic sauce and cauliflower bites. One day we ate in and we each got Mexican bowl and it was delicious. Everything is fantastic. The homemade salad dressings and sauces are delicious.The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. We ate outside one night on the little side porch with propane heaters for warmth and the atmosphere was very pleasant.My husband will have more trips to Santa Ana, and I am positive we will eat here again.

Awesome, definitely a place to eat on repeat.Finally a place where they don't skimp out on the quality, quantity, and value.I've tried a good amount of the menu and would say their lamb gyro is probably their best protein.Poke was mid, ceviche was solid, chicken solid, filet mignon, solid/ok.I will look into having them cater future events.Would be nicer it if they use compostable takeout and single use disposables.To the managing partners, please do not deviate out of greed or desperation (or expand too quickly where everything drops), there are just too many sad/mid restaurants in the OC so please stay around!

This isn’t a good option for a polished date because the atmosphere isn’t great, but it is a great option for a solid meal.The first impression was disappointment because I expected a traditional sit down restaurant. The tables and spacing are like fast food.The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They talked us through the menu, recommending the barramundi dishes and they did not disappoint.They brought the food to our table and it was fantastic. Just go. Early and often.

I was very dissatisfied when my daughter found 3 gnats in her basmati rice. The restaurant owner stated it was from the soy sauce bottles sitting outside too long but regardless of how bugs got there it is unacceptable. I cannot believe our server or owner did not offer to remove item from our tab or at least offer a discount. They just gave an explanation and remade rice but our daughter could no longer stomach eating anymore rice after that. The rest of my family’s food was good but nothing to brag about.Parking: Easy to park and a number of spots open to park around dinner time.

Can I say there was a party in my mouth with all the amazing flavors? I would recommend to hold off on the salsa bar until you try your food as is. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, even the pita bread was hot and just melts in your mouth. The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. Don't walk but run to try this place out!

Good fresh food! I enjoyed the spaciest location with indoor/outdoor seating. The ambiance was clean and organized. They offer a variety of items, most inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. I like this business because they offer meat and seafood dishes. I ordered the combo plate of lamb/chicken. The meat was juicy and tender. I also ordered the gyro taco. I thought that was okay. I'll try a different taco item next time. I was greeted with a smile and friendly service. The gentlemen offered his favorites. For dessert, I got the baklava, which cost 7 dollars for 3 pieces. Overall, I would come back to try other items.
