Lunch course. It was delicious. I have watched in the television about this restaurant in Nagoya, Japan. Glad to have one in the United States.

Love our food there every time we go (which is frequent). Fresh, hot food that is perfectly seasoned. The restaurant is clean and free from clutter. The service is nice, but you cannot be in a rush. The people who work there are friendly and accommodating. Great place... please open a Furaibo in Corona!!

Perfectly prepared consistent food. I've been visiting for over two years now and many times I felt like each visit was even better than the last. Owner chef is highly skilled. First time during covid I was surprised that he was preparing all items alone in the kitchen. Great service, easy seating for families, and in my opinion the only authentic Japanese fry restaurant in the area including Irvine.

Our favorite place for Teba! After moving in the OC we thought that we'd be going to the Gardena location more often. But lo and behold there's one in Santa Ana! We ordered our usual: Teba (mild) Soborro bowlGrilled squid House saladPork cutletEggplant with miso Grilled Saba And a variety of grilled itemsLocation and Parking:Located in a shopping center where there's a target so plenty of parking Service:The staff was very attentive and always checked in on us. Also the owner of furaibo is working here. There's other furaibo locations. We like the ambiance here much better since the tables and booths are much cleaner.

I was really excited that there was a new Izakaya restaurant in OC. It is kind of near the mall in a Target parking lot. The furniture up front makes you feel like you are in a fast food diner, but there is a wall of booths in the back that look cool and homey. The servers were awesome, but they do seem understaffed. The food was just okay, just maybe 20% off of good. The wings were of course good, but the yakitori and other dishes just needed something more. I feel they need Japanese management to come from Japan and work on the food flavor and redo the inside for a cozier feel and vibe.

I used to go to the original restaurant in Gardena back in the day, so I had to try this one. I ordered the chicken katsu, good but not great, I've had better, also ordered the butter asparagus which was phenomenal. We also tried the 1/2 lb of chicken wings which was unbelievable! Definitely a come back place, the wait staff was amazing!

Scrolling thru Yelp to figure out what's for dinner tonight, I was shocked to see that I hadn't rated this (favorite) restaurant. I've been to this location about 3 times, when in the area, and have, of course, been to the OG in Gardena since I grew up there! Furaibo is definitely a "go to" when the craving hits. The DOUBLE TEBA SAKI course is my ultimate favorite! Those wangs! The flavor is AMAZING. A very light soy and some secret seasonings add to make this an all time favorite for chicken wings IMO plus you can dust them with your spice level of white pepper, which is another seasoning that sets these wings apart.Yes, similar to Korean wings, but different. After all, these are Japanese which originated in Nagoya, JAPAN.There is "just enough" rice, perfectly cooked, may I add, to the lunch box, and who doesn't like the perfectly shredded Japanese version of cabbage slaw, with the delicious lighter version of an Asian "thousand island" type soy dressing and just a few edamame which again, are perfectly cooked and seasoned well.I always want to try their tonkatsu, but just can't get past these wings!! My mouth is watering rn. Time for another trip.

The wings are so good. Let me start off by saying that I love wings. These were so good. I got the double something but they were basically wings. Comes with soup, rice and a little salad with choice of dressing.Service was good, I know they were running a little slow since there's only 1 lady outside and 1 guy in the kitchen. Big ups to him because as we were near the end of our meal, it was pretty crowded.Tons of parking.Cant wait to be back.

This would be a perfect 5 star rating except Becuase of the odd hours - which I totally understand. Chicken wings- holy moly. They are only FLATS!!! They are cooked quickly and so full of flavor that you don't need to dip it in with anything. My husband usually can kill about 50-60 wings by himself. Spice level really isn't spicy so go up a few notches. House salad- my favorite salad! Still need to figure out how to get the cabbage to be cut like that.... But it's so good with the miso dressing!! A must get with the wings. Service is decent but I come back for the food

My favorite place for simple & delicious Japanese cuisine. Must try chicken wings, it's super tasty & crunchy.

Great Japanese food.Everything we ate was delicious, would recommend the chicken wings, mushroom appetizer, curry and the chicken bowl. The star of the show is the chicken wings, my 10 year old ate like 10 of them.Service was excellent, they were so considerate, they even made sure were weren't too cold sitting near the door. Not sure what the other reviewers experienced but we've had nothing but attentive, polite service. We come here 2-3 times a month now and it's one of our favorite places. Never gets too packed and they seem to take pride in their food and service.
