Probably the best Philly cheese steak I've ever had. Chicken salad is great also. Good prices! Nothing fancy about this place just great food prepared to order and generous portions. Try the homemade jalapenos. Good potatoe salad and macaroni salad.

Found this diamond in the rough today. I travel a lot around LA OC area. I often look for a delish spot to go. I was pleasantly surprised to find Gail’s. This place is tucked away in the back of an industrial area. The decor was nothing fancy but suitable for the location. I ordered the teriyaki combo with chicken and beef. I then noticed they had Korean BBQ beef so I ordered one of those also.Both plates had lots of delicious meats vegetables and rice. Portions were good sized and prices were reasonable. They had specials of the day and also a different fresh soup of the day. There was enough food choices to satisfy everyone’s needs. The girl at the counter was very pleasant and answered my questions thoughtfully. Oh the pickled jalapeño was awesome. Will be going back.

The counter person/daughter of owner is hilarious. I got a chicken breast sandwich, and she said I ordered the most boring item that they had (It was sooooo good). She picked the right person as i enjoy such interactions. Prices are pretty good as well.
