The food is very good, but the waitresses took 15 minutes just to take our drink order, in the end the waitress followed us to the car to ask us for a tip even though they took a long time to serve us and take our orders.

The service was awesome, but the food was even better. My husband had the black truffle ramen and Yuzu Shio ramen. They were so good and filling! Would definitely be coming back if we weren’t from Oklahoma.

Food: The food was pretty good. We got the Tonkotsu Ramen and Shoyu Ramen and they were good. I chose 4 stars instead of 5 because I believe the portions weren't big enough for the price, but the taste was pretty good.Service: The service was okay. We had to wait a while to get help and catch the attention of the servers. The atmosphere was nice, it was pretty lively and jpop was nice to listen to.

Fantastic food. The pork belly with plum shiso is worth coming for on its own.

We made reservation via Yelp. This restaurant is located in a small plaza with limited parking spaces. The service was excellent. The restaurant looks like a typical Japanese yakitori restaurant. It's clean. The ramen tastes alright. The yakitori tastes alright too. It's a nice restaurant just have a drink and to hang out with friends.

At first glance, this place looked great as it had a variety of things on their menu. From skewers, sushi, to ramen. But after glancing over the menu, we just decided to grab a roll and head to a second place. The wait for our ONE roll was over 25 minutes, which was crazy! They also sat us at the corner of the bar when there was so much open space, and it was cramped. They didn't really check up on us, and the crab in the roll had a weird taste. I would only come back here to try other things on the menu.

Service was very great. Polite . I enjoyed the atmosphere, being able to see the chefs cook the yakitori. As for flavor, Tried raw octopus mixed with wasabi shiso and had some sort of otsukemono type of flavor. Texture is chewy soft where cooked is chewy hard. its called takko wasa takko means octopus and wasa was short for wasabi. It will clear your sinuses that's for sure. I will say tho it was quite too salty for me. Hooooohh!!! The ramen is spicy pork ramen. Honestly the noodles did feel overcooked. The broth was a bit bland. The flavor of everything was bland.I'm used to a sharp buttery flavor. Let's just say I had better . I would have added some bamboo shoots . The Yaki Tori I had was chicken hearts which was actually fantastic. Meaty . Gizzard was chewy tough of course and a pork one had a little salty sour flavor . So overall the yakitori part was the best but I did have better.

Yakiroti was really good, and ramen was above average. Good stuff.

Hubby and I came here for a late dinner after driving down down from SJ. I wanted something Asian and soupy and found this place near the hotel that opens late. It's located in a small plaza with several Asian restaurants and a liquor store. The restaurant is a small restaurant with about 6-8 tables and bar seating where you get to watch the Chefs cook. It is very laid-back and casual. Staff was quick to greet and seated us. We immediately asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for recommendations 9n the sake as they have an entire fridge of sake selection. The sake was served immediately and poured into a wine glass for each of us. The one we chose of the 2 recommended was really good and smooth. We ordered the following:1. Yakatori: chicken hearts, liver, skin, and shitake mushrooms. The skewers are about half the size of a regular skewer. They were grilled and seasoned pretty well, though I wish the skin was crispier. The liver and shitake were my favorite. 2. Black truffle ramen: perfectly seasoned and not overwhelming with the truffle. Hubby and I agree we needed it to be more spicy.3. Spicy tonkatsu: It wasn't as great as the Black Truffle nor as spicy as I hope it to be for someone who likes spiciness and eats her meal with thai chilis. I added more chili pepper, and even so, it wasn't spicy. It's just a hint of spicy. The egg yolk was cooked right soft boiled and lightly seasoned. It tasted different but good, but I can't point what the taste reminds me of. The ramen noodles are cooked just right with a crunchy texture and not soft or soggy.Having the soup was exactly what I needed after spending almost 7 hrs on the road. The service was good until we were ready for the bill. The 2 servers weren't paying attention and were cleaning up as it was towards the end of the night. It took some time to get their attention, and once we did, everything was quick.
