It is always a treat to come down to Hammer Burger. Today was no different. I got my usual but there are always specials that are interesting to try. One day. I love sitting at the wine & beer bar and they are always super nice and making sure I've had enough food or drink. As for the food, the burgers are amazing and if you have not tried a Hammer Burger you need to get to DTSA when you get the chance. You won't regret it.

My first time trying a smash burger and I tried the spicy one! It was so dang delicious. I was happy to see a plethora of sauces available and I grabbed some ranch for my fried pickles and got the chipotle sauce which was such a great addition to the already spicy burgers. My gal got the classic and it was definitely easier to hold than my spicy burger but I loved it all the same. Oh man, she had fries as well and I thought they were the perfect amount of salt and crispness. Plenty of tables to sit and they had a nice selection of alcoholic drinks with also a separate bar seating area. Can’t wait to come back.

That was one of the best smash burgers I've ever had. I just got the classic. I'll definitely be back while my car is charging in the parking structure a block away. I hope they build one of these by my house.

My personal suggestion best Smash burger is hammer burger around OC and LA for the win, og smash and burger she wrote. Gotta hit oc for the best. Around OC just come to Hammer burger Spicy smash and fried pickles made entirely in house unbeatable.

One of the BEST burgers I've ever had!! We also shared the chili cheese fries, and they were the bomb. Huge portions! They also have ranch, chipotle, and other sauces out to use however much you need. We will be back, hopefully soon! ?

This place was recommended by my best friend and it did not miss. The meat was SMASHED alright, crispy and delicious. I got the spicy burger and my daughter got the original. I would recommend getting a different cheese for the spicy burger maybe a sharp cheddar or American would have elevated it a bit more. They have vegan/vegetarian options!!!! Would definitely come back.

Love Hammer! Great food, bold flavors, good sides, and friendly staff. Milk shakes are great and they have a decent selection of beer on tap. Food is consistent - a sign of a well managed kitchen. Happy hour is 20% off everything, so definitely worth checking out if in the area.

It's fast food. The staff was great. If frozen fries really well done "meat" is your idea of delicious, then it's perfect for you. If you want a half pound burger with cheese and fixings, skip it.
