I absolutely love Kiazen Shabu! The food here is consistently amazing, with fresh ingredients and rich, flavorful broths that make every bite memorable. The owner and the entire team are incredibly friendly, always making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I especially appreciate how the owner often offers free alcohol to customers, adding that extra touch of hospitality.
I first visited when they first opened a few years ago, and at that time, it wasn’t too busy. But with the incredible food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere, it’s no surprise that Kiazen Shabu has become so popular. Now, it's always packed, so be prepared to wait, especially on weekends and during dinner hours – but trust me, it's worth it!
I highly recommend trying most of their dishes; you won’t be disappointed. Kiazen Shabu is a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious food and top-notch service!

Hands down the best shabu place around socal. Right next to the famous Yost theater in downtown Santa Ana, the food and service was incredible even though it was a busy Friday night. If you're looking for a hot pot style of dinner, good sake, and overwhelmingly nice staff, this is the spot. Will def be coming back whenever I'm looking for dinner and a fun night in the area.

Little gem of a shabu shabu spot tucked away in the heart of Santa Ana. In addition to the calamari and takoyaki appetizers, we ordered beef and pork plates which came with vegetable plates and rice. The portion sizes were perfect for the three of us and all the ingredients and flavors were stellar. As I write this review in the comfort of my home, I am craving the calamari appetizer. It was a particularly unique take on a relatively standard dish that was both flavorful and delicious. To top that all off, the staff was friendly and attentive and we were able to quickly finish our meal without feeling rushed to make it to our movie. Highly recommend ?
