Check, double check, triple check your order for every single item and sides. Even if you order just one item ( I am not exaggerating).

5+ stars to the kitchen! Great food. I can only vouch for their vegetarian items. Everything we have ordered so far have been excellent!

I don't want the amazing kitchen staff to be affected by poor service by the rest of their team.

The service team missed an item from my order, yet again. It was not during rush hours or even near closing time. They even told me they remember they missed items from my last order when I started opening the bag to check. Before I could finish checking they even realized exactly which item was missing! It's quite bizarre!

Then you will have to wait however long it takes for them to prepare the missing item. And if you realize something missing after you get home then you will have to drive back to essentially out in the boonies to pick up again.

I still tipped them. To their credit, they did compensate by adding the missing item from my last order even before I arrived. I just wish I didn't have to wait for the missing item after a long drive (with more to drive after).

And a minor issue with online ordering from their website, it kept erroring out--I tried at least 4 different cards. They did take phone order instead. But I spent 20 minutes doing all this which otherwise should have taken 3 or so minutes.

Food tasted like home made dish. I provided some specification when I ordered the food. Chef made the food exactly the way I want to eat. Dishes tasted very delicious and the service was good. Thanks to Kannappa for making yummy food for us and our guests

NOT for sit and dine in . Google gives option to “Reserve table” which is misleading.
Owner should remove it. There is a waiting room and ordered from a tablet and have to wait for delivery from locked door (shared food delivery place). After ordering 3 items from the tablet it took over 50 minutes . Even someone waiting before me complained that he waiting for long time. Food was good in taste , but be prepared for long long wait time !

I was craving for an authentic south indian food near my place but most of them are north indian restaurant and I found "Kannapa" on google so, we just thought of giving it a try. When we reached the restaurant the set up was totally different, it is not a typical dine in restaurant, it's only a kitchen space (shared by 4 different kitchens) with waiting area. You need to order food on the monitor in the waiting area and wait to collect your food. Kannan the owner of Kannapa himself showed up when I was selecting my order and patiently asked and listened to my specific taste. The food was amazing and mouth watering... I would definitely place my party orders here next time as they are doing catering service too. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who loves south indian food or even wanted to try an authentic south indian food for the first time.

Kannan said he does not believe in advertising and only believe in People references. He thinks once an customer is satisfied and happy by their food they will definitely be an repeating customer and will recommend Kannappa to their friends and family. Which is 100% true.

What a tasteless experience with Kannappa.. what happened to the salt and the flavors? This is the most bland Indian food I have had. Ordered the u lava charu chicken dum biryani..which had 0 flavor.

The food was really good, not perfect though. The downside of this place is the wait time and the price. The prices do not match the portion sizes and do not fit the quality.

I had to wait 45 minutes for so little amount of food I got. At any other Indian curry-like places I would expect to wait at most 20-25 minutes for the amount of food I got.

If you have some money to expend on delicious food and super patient to wait for your food. I would recommend this place. Otherwise I wouldn’t.

The catering service was fine overall, but here's what I liked and disliked. What I liked was that the food was incredible and after it arrived, it was fresh. I took the option of having them set up the food and the person who delivered the food stayed at my home during the entire party. Their employee set up the food at various times during the party, helped us clean up, and serve drinks. It was like having a waiter at my house. As the party progressed, he would continuously refill the containers. Various guests spoke so highly of the food. People would identify their favorite food and let me know how good it tasted. There were some bad aspects of the service as well. The food arrived one hour late, and some of our guests had already arrived. I host parties like this often and I order from various restaurants, I think they delivered half the quantity I usually receive from other restaurants. It was the first time ever that I actually ran out of food. If I had known about the portion size earlier, I would had ordered double the food.

We catered for a birthday celebration recently. Mr. Kannan was exceptional in suggesting the right menu and quantity. Food was delivered and set up on time. Quality of food and taste was excellent. Everyone enjoyed it. Definitely catering from Kannappa again.

Basically 4 kitchens under one roof. We tried the Indian food (of course).
Food was ok. The chilli chicken was a little dry, masala dosa was a little burnt, but the chicken curry was really good, I guess that's the reasoning for my 4 stars. Mainly it's a place to order and take it with you, they do have a few chairs and a table to dine it, wouldn't recommend it though, no restrooms either, and oh yes. Get your own drinks or from somewhere a little pricey drinks on the menu. Few pics here, so you know how their system works. Could order online or at the kiosk they provide and ring the bell for that particular food you want and they will bring it to you.
