I love this afghani restaurant so much! I've been there a couple of times with my family and it's been incredible every time. The service is amazing and they were patient and explained the spices in each dish (because of an allergy). They were so careful and considerate. I love coming here because everyone is so nice and the food is delicious. The chai is a must!!

I recently moved to Southern California from the Bay Area and was searching for Afghan food because I missed my mom's cooking . I dined at this authentic Afghan restaurant and was blown away by the rich flavors and warm atmosphere. The menu offers a delightful array of Afghan dishes, each prepared with precision and authenticity. The kebabs were succulent, and the mantu dumplings were a taste of perfection. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Attentive without being intrusive, they guided us through the menu and ensured our satisfaction. The ambiance reflects Afghan culture with the unique paintings and decor, creating a cozy and inviting space. Whether you're a fan of Afghan cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a full stomach and a genuine appreciation for the culinary journey they provided. Five stars for an outstanding dining adventure!

Probably the best tasting afghan restaurant in Orange County. The Ashauk was amazing best I've had since my Mom made it. Chicken kabob nice and juicy with lots of taste. Customer service was great. Lots of authentic afghan paintings as well. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered the house special mantoo. Since I don't eat meat, the cashier said they could swap out the meat with chickpeas. It was very flavorful and filling. 10/10 would recommend.

We had bolani, qabali palaw, and chabli kabob. Everything tasted delicious and authentic Afghan food! Owners even brought us complimentary ice cream as it was my birthday! Best Afghan food and hospitality! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately like most Afghan restaurants, this restaurant has not been able to keep its quality and food is not consistent. First time we visited, food was great, even if prices were a bit high and portions small. Second, time, food was not bad, but not as good as first time. Visited this week and wow, terrible food. First, they have now started to up charge for no reason. Check your receipts, the prices charged are different from what is listed on the menu and no explanation is given and mind you, their prices are already very high for essentially a fast-food type of restaurant. Tried the pakoras and it was basically frozen vegetables fried in flour dripping with oil, terrible. Tried combo kebab with kabuli which was charged at $24.91, and the beef tikka kebab consisted of 5 tiny pieces of meat that was overcooked and hard to cut even with a knife. Chapli kebab was so thin it was falling apart. Bolani tasted different, bread was too thick, filling very light and weird flavor, upcharged at $17.63. Aushak was only decent item, but small plate and upcharged at $18.67. Overall, very small portions, high prices, bad quality and no service. Unfortunately, will not be visiting anymore and will let friends know of our experience as well. I could forgive food being off one day, but the sneaky upcharge, already high prices, small portions, and bad service, will keep a lot of us away. Do better Kebab Kurry.

I went there today for the first time and I was immediately met with a very welcome ambience. It's a small and cozy restaurant but they have an incredible menu of both Afghan and Indian cuisine. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure you're taken care of. I'll most definitely be coming back.
