Found this gem up the road from the house. First time trying El Salvadoran food and it did not miss. This place was known for its Papusas - pork cheese and beans, even made it nice for upcoming Valentine’s Day with a heart shape. This is a must try! Support local. We will definitely be back on the regular.

Popusas where good I bought five different ones to tried them the revueltas and the loroko where good but salsa was rotten disgusting and I put and topOf my 3 pupusas ?

First time here, I wouldn't of came across this place if my original taco truck wasn't there today. I do believe everything happens for a reason Bc I believe I found my new spot!!! I ordered the Asada burrito w/ cheese. They were not shy with the cheese! The meat was actually very flavorful & not tough. They give you complimentary chips & Guac! The Guac was excellent oh my god, had a nice little citrusy taste to it, chips were homemade. All around just delicious. If you are driving by and skeptical of this place don't be the food is amazing! I will be back

Parking: Its a food truck that you can easily overlook, but I strongly suggest that you stop by the hot made on the spot pupusas are worth waiting for.Give these ladies a chance to change your mind about the small parking lot they are on .once you try the pupusas you will be back for more before you get a chance to leave the parking lot ???

Good papusas and empanadas de platano de leche. Ladies are friendly. Papusas are not too greasy and have good filling ratio. They take card.

Glad I stopped, it was delicious!Last place i went for pupusas in Santa ana they had abad attitude to go in their food which made it worse. The young lady here at La Joya was informative and nice! I enjoyed my food and will be back.Vegetarian options: No meat options
I paid $25 for a carne asada plate and 2 sodas... The carne asada,,, I don't know what kind of meat it is,,, but it's not carne asada... The tortillas are raw in the middle.... My first soda was cold,,, the second was hot... I'm not sure if the beans are beans... I paid $25 for 2 sodas??? what is this

Average size Pupusas but they do taste very good! However, The salsa they give you is heavily watered down, the curtido is not what you would call “fresh” . Make a better salsa and fresh curtido and they would get an excellent rating
