La Vegana Mexicana

The food and service here is just incredible. Love their vegan tamales!

Food was mid the bread is really fresh and soft
But the meat was way overcooked the flavor was very underwhelming

La Vegana Mexicana may be the worst restaurant I’ve tried in many years. I tried the burrito with vegan chorizo, it was very bland and just tasted completely disgusting. I was upset I was charged so much for such a poorly executed meal. Chipotle is much better and much more satisfying than La Vegana Mexicana, I would rather have Taco Bell over this place. Even the miniature salsas provided no extra flavor or heat whatsoever. Their prices are marked way up to pay for rent @ 4th Street Market. The 4th Street Market is also a terrible destination in itself due to the lack of quality food and noise.

The food @ La Vegana Mexicana is extremely expensive and did not taste good at all to me. I should’ve asked for a refund. The 4th Street Market is very loud and echoey, there was a yelping dog and screaming kids here when I visited.

Amazing small business owned by a passionate owner. I sincerely wish them the best! Sad they will be closing their doors/rebranding but it's understandable. Make sure to try this place out before it's gone!

The food is really healthy and delicious. They mostly don’t use soy products. They have a huge sitting area where dogs are allowed as well. I love their tamales and tacos. All their food is great.

I was so excited to try this place but it was a bit disappointing. Both items we got, the torta and burrito with asada mushrooms & pineapple lacked flavor.

Ordered a chorizo and potato burrito. The order took far too long for just a burrito and then the order was completely wrong. Zero potatoes, no vegan chorizo. Pretty disappointing

Had a great first experience at la vegana. The pambazo torta was tasty, especially with the habanero and crema on the side for a little more flavor. Looking forward to going back and trying the quesotacos. Friendly and fast service as well

Awesome customer service and good food!

Really enjoyed all 3 quesatacos — which is a cross between a quesadilla and a taco — but the standout was the mushroom asada.

The tamales were amazing. We tried the beans and mole plus the cheese and Jalapenos. Updated from previous review on 2024-09-09
