Foods were ok, "canh bún" was a little salty, "bò lúc lắc" dish was good; however, it would be best if their salad has some sweet and sour dressing accompanied! Services by the young waitresses were great but the older cashier guy was not really friendly and lack of courtesy! Again, my mileage might varies!

This used to be Banh Cuon Tay Ho years ago. Forgot what I had, I think it was canh bun, but it was good. We were a party of 5. Service was quick. We were seated outside, as most of the inside tables were for 4 or less.

Small place that serves soups like bánh canh and bún Riêu as well as bánh xèo. The lot is even smaller.We like coming here for the Bún Riêu though. All the soups come out super hot and I've burnt my tongue because of it but the food is pretty good. Nước Lèo is also pretty good.Free chế is provided with the meal, but they give it to you while you're eating your meal instead of after, almost as if they want to push you out as fast as possible.
The best bun rieu place period! The crab cake they give is huge and I love the freshly chopped chilies they have. Broth is perfectly sweet and savory. Highly recommend! Service was impeccable.

If you name the restaurant in Orange County, I have been there. This is the place you must try. BUN RIEU is probably if not the THE best. Large bowl is packed with everything you expect and more. This was my first time trying La Xanh and my whole family was wondering how come we never tried this place yet in the past. It is in a pretty small plaza with very limited parking, next to Huong Restaurant (Quan Huong) plaza.. But they are at the corner to a small residential street so maybe you can do street parking. They have a nice outdoor patio with about 6 square tables and they covered it pretty well so it is not dusty or that noisy at all.. Actually, I preferred sitting in the patio because the inside is pretty small, maybe also 6 tables..The food and service here are pretty good! Service was fast and very friendly. The owner is super friendly and he was so nice! Food came out pretty quick. We got Banh Xeo, bun Rieu, and Com bo luc lac (Shaken beef). Like many Yelpers said, the Bun Rieu here is pretty flavorful and solid. I think this might be my new favorite place for Bun Rieu. The bowl is big and is packed wit tons of flavor. They ground/crushed fresh red chilies are pretty spicy! But it's so good...We got the Shake Beef togo and they packed a big portion.The place is also pretty clean and they take CCs. Highly recommend!!
Worst customer service and the attitude from the owner is by far the worst I've ever had to experience, came in for bun soc Trang and the order came out canh bun and when we told the lady she came back with and attitude and said it's to late you'll have to just eat it, ate the damn wrong order and got a stomach ache right after, would not recommend this place

Server recommended Canh Bún as their most popular item. So I ordered that and a Banh Xeo Tom Thit. I thought the bun was average. To be fair I've never been a fan of Canh Bún. I'm more of a Bun Rieu girl. The Banh Xeo was thin, crispy and ginormous. So big it would only fit in a party tray. Down side, it gave me heart burn. Too oily.There was free che dessert.

La Xanh has the best bún riêu in Orange County. The broth is clean but so flavorful. They give you generous amounts of the crab, tofu, and blood pudding cubes. They also include fresh lettuce, bean sprouts, and herbs. If you're picky, you might not like this but I like everything in my bun rieu so it's nice that it's all chopped and mixed together. Makes it easier to just throw it all into your noodles rather than picking the leaves off the steams one by one or break apart the lettuce into smaller pieces. Everything is securely packed for take out orders and I love that they include little desserts for every entree. It's a nice little treat and each one I've tried has been delicious! They do close early at 5pm so either go for lunch or pick it up for dinner! I've called to place an order 15-20 minutes before closing time and they've always been able to get my order in. No frills type of service here but they're always nice over the phone and in person.
