We came from Utah and were recommended to come here since our Airbnb was in Santa Ana. We will truly miss this restaurant everything we tasted was chilaquiles, carnitas plate , menudo and fries and quesadilla for the kids! Everything was so good and hit like homemade food 🥰 it was worth the wait of 30min or so to be seated!

I ordered the menudo and it was nasty. The meat wasn't cleaned so it smelled and tasted nasty. It was also cut in very large pieces making it hard to eat. It was also very greasy. Server never checked on us after bringing us our food until it was time to ask for the check. To top it all off the menudo was so expensive.

Service was really fast and workers have great customer service . The food was really good but the tortillas echas a mano could of been better didn't bring them out on a foil paper to keep warm so they got cold really fast. But the beans have been one of the best ones ive had in while .

My order “Menudo chico con nervio, sin grano”
Small restaurant with limited seating, there’s a waitlist outside the door but if you’re there as soon as they open (which we usually are because menudo in my family is enjoyed as early as possible) you’ll be seated right away.
